Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

But Germany is not fielding the KF-41. It has the Puma instead. And Germany is also never getting the KF-41 in the future in real life.
The US not only developed the Hornet but fielded more than a thousand of them. 2/3 of all built

Ooh i didnt realise they incorporated that many systems. Was this the plan before the US lifted the export ban on the Viper?

I dont disagree with you, more I can see how it could happen

The KF-41 is a weird case because the Germany army never used it, it was built for Hungary and Hungary is in game and thus it went to Hungary

Here’s some info about it

I would be saddened by that, but it wouldnt surpise me if Germany received it before the UK and Italy.

considering the UK is the largest user of the EFT if they didn’t get it at the same time as Germany it would be incredibly dumb

He’s talking about the MiG-23MLA which was added in March of 2022 (2.5+ years after the FGR.2), before that Germany hadn’t had any SARH jets, which in itself wouldn’t have been such a “bad addition” if not for the F-14A Early that was added just a patch later as everyone suffered against it.

Before that we had to wait 2 years for the Bis, and for the longest time all we had to content with the Sparrow spammers was the MiG-21MF.

not saying they should suffer, simply saying they wont have to wait 2+ years to get an even slightly good plane

We had to wait 2+ years to get SARH jet already. I’m presuming you’re not even aware of that considering the way you talk about Germany’s situation…

Would be stupid to not add an iconic jet to all nation that are behind it’s creation.

im sure your aware that the best fighter in the british tree was the FGR 2 for 5 years right? because the Tornado F3 was at most a side grade to it, so I can easily keep the “I suffer more” argument going

I also assume you realise how bugged the FGR2 was right and how long it took to be fixed? also back then SARH missiles were no where near as oppressive as they are now and the Agility of a mig21 was still a lot better then a F4 (especially the FGR2 being the heaviest F4)

And Germany’s was MiG-21MF for nearly 3 years, your point? You’re just measuring who’s suffered “for longer” to make your situation look more dire and eye catching to bystanders, but here’s a fun fact: you had the FGR.2 to fight Germany’s F-86 for at least 2 patches (i.e until MiG-21MF was added, which I’m also quite positive didn’t even have R-60s at the time, just R-3s), but you aren’t to mention this, are you? Who am kidding, you’re not even aware of how dire Germany’s situation was before MLA & MiG-29s had been added.

MiG-21Bis’ was due to its never ending after-burner, which Germany didn’t get to enjoy at all because it had been patched out by Gaijin before the Sau was added. Yes, Sparrows were worse back then, but can you reallyyy argue this point when MF used to fly with nothing but R-3s against your 9Gs and Sparrow Es?

Lol. You’re so clueless to how Germany has fared all this time, yet you act as if you’ve the moral highground here. Not even we (German mains) are this oblivious to other’s suffering.

HOLD UP BUDDY, don’t misquote my post.

First of all, it was primarily a troll post to mess with all the German/Russian mains, and right after the Russian players got the MIG-29 and SU-27.

Second, we ended up having a good insightful discussion on how captured Vehicles could be handled.

if I’m correct the idea was to have a separate tab in the research Tech tree for captured vehicles and you would first have to reach top tier in the nation that the vehicle is from and have the vehicle unlocked.

I think i’m going to up and buy that range table from them at this point so I can make a community-side bug report. Its a shame that internal reports cannot be supported from the community side. The accuracy is frankly insane irl and frankly abysmal in-game.

Any QE or R class will do for me so long as it has a post-1940’s refit.

Probably the second best AA in-game after USS Alaska, radar rangefinders with very good accuracy (very likely the best) , second best shells in-game if you take into account both HE filler and penetration.

It also has pretty good armour. But its no Scharnhorst-killer, its more like HMS Hood got crossed with a Bayern class.

The British Scharnhorst-killer would be the KGV class as we know KGV could pen into her machinery at ‘extreme’ range, indeed that’s what allowed her to then be harassed by destroyers and sunk.

Also very much needed, gimme pls.

Been waiting for Spiteful for 8 years now… WHERE IS IT.

One from the report and then others located additionally to confirm.

Hey. Unfortunately there is no ETA for this reports conclusion at the moment.

No we didn’t. He’s also not a primary source or even a secondary source.

"James Cartlidge, Minister of State for Defence Procurement, clarified in a parliamentary hearing on March 11, 2024, that the Challenger 3 will have the Caterpillar CV12-9A engine, which produces 1200hp. This means that even with the HAAIP program, the CV12-9A engine will remain at 1200hp, not 1500hp.

“Challenger 3 will have the Caterpillar CV12-9A engine which produces 1200hp.”

“This was also confirmed by Baroness Annabel Goldie, the UK’s Secretary of State for Defense until 2023. In a UK parliamentary hearing on January 9, 2020, she explained that the purpose of the HAAIP program was not to increase engine horsepower. Instead, the goal was to standardize the engine across different vehicles, such as the Challenger 2, Challenger Armored Repair and Recovery Vehicle (CRARRV), and Trojan AEV, which previously used different engines (CV12-6A and CV12-8A).”

“The Heavy Armour Automotive Improvement Programme (HAAIP) will provide improvements for the heavy armour fleet including Challenger 2, Challenger Armoured Recovery Vehicle, Titan and Trojan. The HAAIP will deliver a common engine and suspension across all variants which will substantially enhance reliability. In addition, Warrior is being upgraded through the Warrior Capability Sustainment Programme which will significantly enhance reliability.”
