I mean the turret is British unlike the one on Boxer CRV. The gun is of course Anglo-French.

it was in one of the earlier leak lists that was pretty close. if germany are getting a boxer it will be the CRV with block 1 lance turret then a quick ctrl-c ctrl-v and australian boxer CRV. block 2 CRV would be nicer but its still pretty new

The F-14 was the more likely choice.
F-16 and F-18 were disqualified immediately on the grounds of range and single seater, F-15 and F-14 were down-selected as the better two options, but F-14 was deemed to be more useful as at this time the CVA-01 CATOBAR carriers were being considered and they believed the F-14’s radar set was better.
The D model was particularly favoured but after the Shir or Iran collapsed they considered buying the Iranian’s batch of B (?) Tomcats and upgrading them, unfortunately they thought the Tornado would be cheaper. By the time they fixed it Tornado was both worse, and more expensive.
They also reconsidered again when they bought the F-4J, but again too expensive and Tornado was going to be cheaper in their eyes.
its pretty good, id just like to have a multi purpose IFV with aa capabilities. any CTAi vehicle would be amazing

My fella the DW isnt the best IFV… its slower then the warrior, apfsds is subpar and pair with atgms that are terrible for ALL or at least most ifvs its not the best overall…
The australian boxer was already mentioned. So probably not if it’s a vehicle which wasn’t mentioned yet
Dont even know why the RAM was added to the US anyhow… when the UK used the RAM in ww2…

They didn’t think it would be cheaper, just better. Could be used by the RAF and FAA as CATOBAR aircraft similar to the current setup with F-35, had ARH capability with the Phoenix, was good at intercepting bomber formations.
The pilots also liked it more for some reason and twin seater was desperately wanted to reduce workload and also keep the jobs of the then current navigators and weapons supports officers in the FGR phantoms.
The CyberTruck Technical is a better IFV tbh
