I would honestly prefer it that we have gaps over copy paste vehicles. Britain didn’t have a fighter in this period? Tough shit, wait for the Typhoon. Same for Japan for example, would have preferred if F-16AJ wasn’t added. Top tier right now feels awful, every match is the same on the macro scale, and having the exact same planes on both sides definitely isn’t helping.

Which is why I think the way Gaijin even conducts the way they develop the game is stupid.
My hope is that there’s just a few vehicles that belong to BeNeLux and the people who leaked it just assumed that it meant the sub tree as a whole. But we’ll need to see it ourselves, Gaijin certainly isn’t telling us anything…
Why would France even need a subtree of that size in the first place? It would serve no purpose.

The problem is that with the current perimeters that Gaijin has stated, that would also be impossible.
France is a full tech tree that doesn’t have the room for it. If they add a sub tree it would get unnecessarily bloated to the size comparable to a major tech tree, except with none of the character.
The UK had limitations that needed to be addressed, but there was still room left for domestic vehicles. The worst case scenario is that BeNeLux only serves to drop a bunch of copy-paste onto France and saying that’s the solution so they don’t have to spend any more time developing the tech tree.

Finland is 95% of why I play the Swedish tree, but to each their own.
To each their own being the operative term, as that concept requires the variety of options for people to choose to use or not use.
