Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

did you do the same for r73

Never did, cause I always thought a “fix” was always around the corner for R-73, it seems clear now that’s not the case.

To be honest, I’m not sure the game needs fully functional TVC. It’s a good balancing thing for R-73 and Mica-EM. The only thing that suffers is SRAAM, but Gaijin won’t put it at a sensible BR.

Making a missile only function when it feels like working isn’t balance. Its rng.

If Gaijin wants to nerf TVC, they should nerf the thrust vectoring degrees. But having it spin out inconsistenly makes it hard to account or compensate for it. Atleast if they nerfed TVC, I could try and find ways to put myself in a better position, I don’t mind that. But as someone said, RNG/inconsistency isn’t good for reliable gameplay.

I tried to use the sraam, wtf is it it is like a ufo

It’s realism and balance. Balance in the sense that it affects the capabilities, realism in the sense that everything in war thunder is generally perfectly reliable which isn’t realistic.

The example of AP fuses not having any chance to fail, springs to mind.

We implement cannon dispersion, why not also weapon failures?

What is that and how is it bending reality to its will

That’s a nuke? Tf?

Yep.

Thats a missile capable of carrying a nuke. 99.9% certain it didn’t have a nuclear warhead onboard.
