No it was a joint project

Yeah. It will be tough to know.

I’ll gladly jump in my Tranche 4 Typhoon to take them on. But Other nations wouldnt have any presence in that BR. Even with artificial nerfs (that people would only endlessly complain about.) They are just not needed. No:

F-22
F-35
Su-57

not a massively huge list of aircraft to be ommitted and no nation will suffer as a result. But there is a dead easy test aircraft to add. F-117. Nice, easy and safe addition that wont rock the boat too much, but can test the idea of stealth.

A lot of the expertise for things like the VTOL capabilities directly came from us and our research/experience with the harrier. BAE is just as big and experienced as companies like Lockheed martin. maybe even more so in some respects

Almost always does though.

Yeah you right. It was like 97% US and UK tho. Lockheed, Northrop, and BAE cooked hard

F104 was well funded and was a terrible plane

Harrier was done all by our self and was the opposite

More money means more to be wasted

Wait really I thought it was all US, you learn something new every day

Well the US also studied their own av8b. Also the funny yak 144. Pretty sure Lockheed helped the Russians with it and the knowledge gained helped them with f35

If they keep multipathing the same, I’ll gladly take them on in my F-2 as well. If we’re getting to the point of AIM-9X and AAM-5, it’s all about who sees who visually first anyway lol.

It is very nice plane shame they didn’t go for the better engine

Foxhunter vs Blue Vixen is another example of “funding doesnt equal better”

I mean the f15 was expensive but the result was excellent. And the f104 was the first really really fast US plane, and the lessons learned were put to use

Yeah… I think 6-9 months for Gen 5 IR, but only for CAS aircraft. At least 18 months for fighters to be equipped with them. (though could make an appearance on SPAA systems any day now)

What was the other engine option?

Dude not to be rude but why are you like this ?

9L had their debut on AH-1Z, i cant see why the SPYDER with PT4/5 cant come soon.

Yeah. My thinking is Tornado Gr4 with 2x ASRAAM.

Essentially an 11.0 airframe. No radar beyond ACM. No HMS.

would be a reasonable entry point for the airframe. Couple it with Brimstones and a Gen 3 pod and it would be great fun

Nope, it had some multi-level support from what I’ve heard. It’s also built by more than just the US.

From what I recall from reading up on the CF-35 variant it’s why Canada could have(still is?) going a variant for it because it was part of the program from near the start.

He is sorta new to this site. (Ironic coming from me lol) And plus this is the most active chat blog out of everything else. (Do people even call them chat-blogs anymore?)

So in fairness to give him some slack but it is true that he needs to know where thing should be posted like wish-listing stuff.
