Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

So a indain Mig21?

can but hope maybe i’ll stumble across some Lion docs. You reckon Grenwich Naval Archies would be a good place to start?

We hope desperately its wrong. It would be the worst premium ever added

worse than the F-4 Junk

The veneto class adopted pugleisei system, which allows for thinner armor, but the sovietsky soyuz cannot. Still, I wouldnt mind the sovietsky soyuz in war thunder.

agreed, i try to buy premium’s when there onsale like 50% off

hey if it gets you involved with Naval I’d be in for it. Naval needs all the interest it can get

Was the Mig21 ever op?

Not sure about OP but when it was BIS vs F-4 it was pretty dominant.

Why did they nerf it?

Well… it was when it had a totally broken FM. Even now its probably overperforming. It may have the wrong AB thrust

Yeah the Sovetsky’s system supposedly would reduce effective thickness.

I wouldn’t mind it but if it gets the paper stats it would smack anything but yamato (realistic implemented Lion would also stand a chance in terms of armour).

Look what the hell i found:

Some British admiral once said that the fundamental design characteristics of battleships and aircraft carriers are so different that to attempt to combine the two was a sign of insanity.

Or something to that effect.

True.

But on the other hand, its cool.

Does anyone have information on this American 1930s Battlecarrier concept? : r/WorldOfWarships

Battlecarrier.

I think theres some argument for it, i.e. a dedicated shore bombardment platform that can be useful in the 99% of time its not being used in that narrow role.

Still not a very efficient use of resources, though lol.
