More like they’re doing so because they know that unique stuff are limited and the constant addition of them will significantly reduce the ability to extend the game’s lifespan in the long run. Ever thought about the fact that there is a finite number of vehicles IRL? If you want more unique stuff, you can email Nexter, Rheinmetall, BAE and etc to make more unique stuff then.

Major difference would be getting 40° of horizontal targetting speed.
It would get 2nd gen instead of 1st gen thermals which idnt a big difference and would also get 3BM60 over 3BM46, not a big difference either.
T-80UE-1 was produced in about 30 tanks IIRC.
