I just don’t get why only the T-80UE-1. A lot of nations are suffering at top tier MBT wise, yet of course we are getting a new T-80 (unless some other MBTs are added).

It’s not really the fault of the Soviet Union or the Russian Federation that they made absolute bucketloads of designs and most of them are ‘leaked’ to anyone with the capacity to use google and translation software.

mainly the warrior and sea harrier for me, the AVRE is cool but I assume its gonna be an event tank or a premium

I thought the same at some point in regard to it being a 11.3 premium. I somewhat think it would be weird to have a blatantly better T-80U at the same BR as the original, but then again this is Gaijin.
It’s not the soviet union or russias fault, it’s just Gaijin’s incredibly weird priorities.

Given its 3 minutes reload, it would more than likely be an event tank, not everyone wants to grind it in the TT or pay 2k GE for it, but event, sure.

Asssuming 2A4M CAN is the German 11.3 premium, and the T-80UE-1 is the Soviet 11.3. That would leave only China, France and Sweden without 11.3 ground premiums.
T-80UE-1 AFAIK is essentially going to be a T-80U with some different thermals and T-80UD turret, for whatever difference that’ll make.
Otherwise more or less the same but still technically unique.
Personally not too excited about that since I’ve got every single Soviet ground vehicle unlocked.
Much more excited for the OES to go on sale so I can unlock Britain, or a new Chinese 11.3 premium, or just the Italian 11.3 to go on sale.
Desert Warrior would be nice, but much rather the Warrior 2000 or VERDI-2.

My only real gripe is that the desert warrior gets tows, which I don’t really like in the current atgm fm. Ik thats just a skill issue, but I’d rather something like the LMUK boxer

I’m going off from what I read people say here and in the UE-1 suggestion, so I could very much be wrong.
People said that it was a T-80U with better gun handling, better thermals and the ability to use better ammo.
Not 100% sure if these are true though

im gonna be honest the british top tier isnt really worth it unless you have british air, thats like the only reason to play top tier britain is for the cas

Yeaaaah, stop around 10.3, it’s a very strong line up even without cas, only really missing a punchier IFV (the warrior can work, but you’re really stretching the Milan at that point.). Also a fan of the 8.3 & 9.3 lineup’s, (got a nuke in the 9.3 line up with the Khalid & Chieftain mk.10 the other day), although those line ups lack comparable cas to other nations at that BR
