Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Well there was a chance to ass a Visegrad TT, which is union/close cooparation of Czechia, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. But Gaijin decided to add Hungary to Italy…Still i would love to see Czechoslovakia nad Poland beind added together as one TT (even tho i dont know how to name the TT and what flag to use). But still 1000% better then being added into USSR tt

As we all know, Israel’s “characteristic independent TT” has only a 1% retention rate, and although it is very distinctive, it is very unsuccessful. Having a lot of unique vehicles doesn’t change the fact that there is a huge amount of copy-and-paste garbage in front of you, and most players have already voted for the “subtree” with actual actions, and Gai Tight is doing the same. Of course, if it is possible to have the new TT start at level VI and skip those copy-pastes, then the player can still accept lmao

Yugoslavia and Poland + Czechoslovakia can easily avoid having lots of copy and paste.

Yes, the European tech tree is still meaningful, there are a lot of featured vehicles, this one is the imagination of the previous forum players, which is very good. If I can simplify it and join the game in the future, I’m more than happy to dive into it

That is Gaijin’s fault, not the players’. Gaijin knew that it would fail as soon as they decided to not invest as much in it as other nations.

The czechoslovakia TT proposal by TADAMANT is mostly domestick with a lot of deeply modernised vehicles an quite small number of copy paste

Take Yugoslavia and its successor nations out of that, and it wouldn’t be too bad.

Israel failed because it’s implementation was uninteresting.

None of their fun tank destroyers and strange IFVs are included, it’s just Magachs, Magachs, more Magachs and some Merkavas.
Aviation is arguably the best it could be.

Had Israel launched with their interesting rank I-III and with proper SPAA/TD support they’d surely have been more popular.
Avoiding these mistakes with future independent country trees could remedy this.

TLDR; it’s not only about uniqueness, but interesting implementation.
Considering that most Eastern European countries have aeguably more interesting vehicles than Israel in many tiers, I don’t think they would suffer from such unpopularity.

I find that there is a fair list of things wrong with this.

That is an understatement.

On the other hand, benelux, oh、、、、、、 this gap is too big, it’s just bad, a huge amount of copy and paste, the lack of MBT comparable to the Leopard 2A7, only A6, among these, it is obviously very suitable to select a small number of high-level characteristic vehicles to join the French TT, gaijin’s planning is also very reasonable, I no longer want to grind a bunch of F5 F104 and F86 and other things again

For starters, a lot of the higher tier Leopards are modified, not copy and paste, and the vast majority of the support vehicles are unique also.

As for air, Israel.

Loosely hoping the Dutch CV90 and Leo will be premiums/squadron vehicles since I don’t really play ground but would love a full Dutch (semi modern) mixed battle line up.

Just at a glance from what you post Belgium would add more to Ground than NL.

You judt ratted yourself out as someone who only looks at high tiers.

Typical.

Had you taken a better look at low and mid tier you would find plenty of unique stuff. Instead you cherrypicked a certain rank to make your point.

You make yourself so easy to disregard.

He also ignored the fact that his argument only applies to MBTs, and even then, only somewhat.

So how many players will spend money on bundle grind just to play those low-level and fun vehicles you mentioned? Guess why Gaijin has made Modern Warfare at its core, and why is it now top-tier or at least Tier VI with every update? Now the new players, the fresh blood is rushing to modern vehicles, although some World War II, Cold War vehicles are also more interesting, but, he can’t bring revenue, understand? Why does Gaijin keep launching new modern vehicle packs? Because players like it, and Gaijin can make money, if Gaijin spends all his resources on crafting low-level vehicles for those new nations, then Gaijin is probably going out of business by now

Have you taken into consideration that low tier War Thunder has existed years before these current high tier vehicles did?
For years this was the part of the game being fleshed out, meaning it requires far less attention currently than high tier does.

And while it is true that high tier premiums make up a good portion of income, you are unfairly framing it as if this is the only thing that makes Gaijin profit.
Premium account time, battle passes and stars for event vehicles are a few examples of other big sources of revenue.
Even still, mid tier still sees a good amount of premiums too.

You also ignore how the vast manority of players is F2P and plays in low tier for a while before getting their first premium or just moving on from the game.
There is no harm in giving countries that can stand on their own good low tiers.
Yugoslavia for example has unique low and high tier aviation and ground forces. Why then should they be relegated to a shared tree with others they didn’t even share so much modern history with?

I mean, me refusing to play israel has more to do with watching the news and having a conscience than with anything the video game tree has right or wrong.

Truly… News… Well… There are some bad influences

Hot knowledge, subtrees do not affect the addition of “low-level featured vehicles”
