Rank 8 ground seemed more like an excuse to sell Rank 7 premiums tbh. I think there’s a lot to expand on in air still as they haven’t caught up to modern day like ground vehicles have.

The thing that makes IFVs special is the weaponry, not the mobility.
That’s pretty much it.

And all it has is like 2 unreliable spikes and your standard 30mm that a lot of nations have already.
Pair that with a huge and less mobile platform. It’s pretty much a better protected but allround worse puma.
Israel is not one of those nations.
Yes and they are the only one getting it on a borderline DOA vehicle.
It’ll only be DOA if you play it recklessly. Otherwise, it’ll be a perfectly fine support vehicle.

At which point the standard Mk.4 Merkava is a better pick. It can more reliably support at close and long range.
Autocannons are just as good as tank MBT cannons, just at different things.
Against not very good players, sure. I’ll take a 120mm with a 6 seconds reload over a 30mm autocannon and laughably bad spikes any day of the week.
Especially when both are on the same platform.
Machineguns are just as good as Laser guided bombs, just at different things!
That’s because of your playstyle, not the weaponry. NLOS missiles are definitely underperforming, however the 30mm alone will make it at least decent.
That is a much different comparison, but okay.

Because MBT cannons and autocannons have similar roles in game, just with different penetrations and ROFs, whereas MGs and LGBs are nothing alike.
At the ranges you will have to fight as a merkava platform? 120mm cannon every time.
An IFV that big and with slightly subpar mobility won’t have a good time getting up close against somewhat decent players.
And spikes are a joke. I survived 2 of them in an M60 a few days ago.
