Ah yes, the whole “MURICA GUN, IT’S OURS” situation
It looked fun

So that’ll be why the Buc S2B has so many placeholder parts

no idea, didnt look at it to closely even more so since i pretty much took a long as break and ignored the last patch release

In essence.

The RWR is just a C&P from the Buc S2 but more buggy. Should have target ID like the tornados do.
Missing a load of loadout options
Martels are underperforming
Buc S2 should have the same radar the Buc S2B got

They absolutely do not. This is a common misconception, that the battleship replaced the carrier by 1942. This is not true, if you look at Japanese battleplans (such as they are), the battleship was always thought of as the main striking arm all the way until the annihilation of the Japanese fleet in the various battles off of the Philippines in 1944.

Battleships and CVs fill completely different roles. If anything, the CV replaced the American style light scouting battlecruiser, but not the battleship. Battleship design became predicated less on making the best battleship and more on making a battleship to escort CVs, but this alone should indicate that they did not get replaced outright as they maintained distinct roles.

You can point to no battleships being completed after WW2 as evidence of battleships being replaced by CVs, but not only is this wrong (HMS Vanguard), it actually has entirely to do with the Soviets never completing capital ships of their own. Both the USN and RN had plans to continue building battleships and fast battleships respectively, had the Stalingrad and Soyetski Soyuz happened. In the absence of a need for big gun armed anti-ship warships, battleships died because their other niche, that of heavy aa escort for CVs, could be more cheaply filled by large post-treaty cruisers, not because they were in any way replaced in their role by CVs.

Thank you for coming to my tedtalk.

I’m not talking abt irl. I’m talking abt ingame, and how ships react to attacks by aircraft doing M0.8 and higher.

ah thats internals, no idea if he did sth there, like i said he took photos, any more involvment is speculation

Eh in that instance it was more The comany name has Lockheed martin in it!! completely ignoring that all the design work for that turret was done in the UK, and is last I checked planned to be built in the UK with some minor work done by Rhinemetall in Germany. Bloke forgot that BAE makes both the CV90 and Bradley these days, and that by his logic should be in the british tree lmao

I love just how much the US military is dependent on BAE Systems. Fairly certain one of their destroyers is like 99% BAE

oh god no another one of those claims, let’s keep that type of of here, we got enough controversial stuff

did someone say challenger 130 for germany /j

I had the same thing happen with the LAV-IIIs.

They were pushed into a corner so they started to claim it was an American vehicle due to General Dynamics Land Systems -Canada building them.

Despite us proving they where a Canadian design.
