tha harrier is dead for 2 reason
because of engines and pantsir you cant fly high
because of engines you fly not fast on low height, so that pantsir has higher chance to kill you with pure guns, not even missles

From what I remember there was never any basis to that claim. Even the statement the claim was based on only mentioned the purchase of technical information from the Lavi project, not outright purchase of the plane design. As is done so much nowadays the relation was blown out of proportion compared to what it most likely really was.

oh no I dont mind that they arent in the game I just find it funny when people complain about X captured vic not being in their tree. I just think its sad we don’t have anything to represent the squadron

harrier and the jas39 just got their agm-65g, while they used Paveways for long time, and few people have them, causing the data. all them have 4 ir missile, and sm3 has the worst plane.

The thing is that this vehicle wasn’t designed to do much more than a spike or in other words it would even be worse because pars 3 on a tank doesn’t make any sense because they are designed for range and not for fighting at 800 - 1000 meters

why would they if the Su25SM3 is the best cas jet in the tree? it would be like saying sure the SA gripen might be one of the best jets in the game but look at the tornado F3 or FGR2
wouldn’t the Harrier be the best possible comparison too?
both are high tier Sub sonics which pretty much only work for CAS
a MiG-27 would be much better compared to a tornado that’s just as fast and immobile as it, and carries pretty similar weapons (4 Guided Bombs)
now.if we are comparing multi roles for CAS then SMT vs F-16C vs Gripen C is much fairer

yeah pretty much that or the A10 but considering gaijin seem to be super against the A10C the only real plane that is similar to the Su25 is the harrier
