This makes me a bit curious then in regards to the Legacy Hornet, and where that could fit within the equation.
As of right now, while we do have the Tomcats, the Hornet was a pretty integral part of naval and marine aviation, and a lot of people seem to think we may get it sometime in the near future.
I hypothesize that if the AV-8B+ and Hornet come in the same update, Gaijin could leave the Hornet as an early A-model with no AMRAAMs (serving as a parallel to the F-14A/B, F-16As, and early F-15A), with the AV-8B+ getting them. Then, we could get an F/A-18C with AMRAAMs in a future update, maybe early 2025

For sim mode it’s considered a semi-sim. Hits the balance just right imo. No need to study a flight manual for each aircraft and have fairly similar controls.
