A Dutch subtree would provide France an option for a stealth fighter, so I can see this being possible.

Yup but till now Gaijin only give nation one per one, they never done something like a bunch of nation as one subTT, so it would be strange from them if they start doing that.
Could open a lot of doors for future addition tho.

Because we don’t need that, our Rafales are enough for our needs. And even if it’s not “full stealth” it have some stealth tech and the SPECTRA suit that can do some cool things to others radars.
And we don’t like to relly on US stuff, you can’t fly F-35 without requesting US acceptation, and they can register things (what you do with their planes etc)
Sovereignty plays an enormous role in France.
