Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Unfortunately in that specific scenario, probably not, a lot of people think Canards+TVC is too early for the game so India would either have the Su-30K (which I don’t believe had multirole) or Su-30MKI (which has canards+tvc).

China could definitely get the Su-30MKK and if Indonesia becomes a tree-filler for Japan, then the Su-30MK could come to the Japanese tree.

Sure. K-5 still survives M829A2 and DM33.

So just copy paste aim-120 to japan?

The Indian one could use derby so it would be unique in a way

If that’s a version of the Su-30MK in Indian service, not the MKI with Canards and TVC, then heck yeah it could come. Otherwise it’s just a little down the road right now for the UK.

its the one with TVC so its far off

wait i don’t see canards so im not sure

yeah this is a MKI so TVC

Doesn’t seem to be mentioned in the patchnotes, but the modification allowing use of AS.34 Kormoran on the Tornado MFG has it 's own unique animation when hovering over it now.

Most self-guiding AGM 's use a generic animation featuring the Maverick. While this kind of weapon ( AShM ) are currently exclusive to the Marineflieger, it certainly doesn’t seem like they’ll be permanently so !

as if the Exocet and PS-371 in the files didn’t point towards that already.

I don’t honestly think Su-30SM/MKI/MKM are that far off. Lower speed performance at this point is kind of necessary considering how the majority of fights still take place in Air RB.

F-15A is better in low speed as it is, and F-15C will probably only make it better. I still don’t think a “supermaneuverable Su-30” is going to be as good in a sustained fight in game as a Rafale or EF, and I think even the early Gripens should be a challenge. But you mention TVC and people flip out, lol.

I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if we get the first batch of “super-maneuverable” Flankers in the winter update.

TVC does help in turns but bleeds speed its not as crazy as people think

It was said partially as a joke at the expense of Russian mains. A TVC Flanker is unlikely to be a significant game changer considering the Flanker is heavy. Sure it can do some higher AoA but it’s unlikely to matter during normal gameplay, especially considering ARH on the horizon.

Probably. Wouldn’t be at all surprised.

Watch them say that the SMT is sufficient enough though, and then justify it by making the Su-25T/39, Yak-141, and SMT the only three carriers instead.

Only 2 rounds in-game can do that: DM53 and M338, neither of which has that feature modeled.

They love the Soviets. Im more expecting a repeat of December 2022. Where US and Soviets are going to be a full BR ahead of everyone else. Except this time the 3 Gripen nations will also be with them instead of a full BR behind,

Don’t worry too much Morv, the way they botched (still botched) the MiG-29, I’m sure the Sukhoi’s will all just be missile-bus food that US mains will complain aren’t the functional equivalent of a flying pinata, and so they too will be nerfed upon release.

Yeah, At least this time we already have the Gripen, so it wont be another Tornado Gr1 vs F-16/Mig-29 situation for me and I actually want the FA2 which is ultiamtely an upgraded 9.3 aircraft. So Id be happy with a downgrade next update :D

The list is not up to date yet and will be updated within the next day, as I said on the list itself.

So, now that we actually got the F-20 in-game…
Drop tanks for F-20 when :D

@Smin1080p I’m sorry to ask such a hypothetical so soon, but with the possibility of more vehicles for Japan from nations like Thailand in the future, I wanted to ask for clarification about Chinese vehicles in Thailand. Has any official decision been made by the devs on if they would consider ever adding the Thai VT-4 or VN-1 to Japan in the future? Or has no official decision been made about this?

I am kinda surprised by that. The Buc S2B got a fuel tank even though it really doesnt need one. So I thought maybe their default going forward was to just add them to new aircraft from the start. But perhaps not.

My theory as to why the F-20 didn’t get them is due to them being the same as on the F-5Es (both wing and fuselage), and just haven’t been modelled yet (or are ready for implementation). I imagine all 3 F-5Es and the F-20 will get the drop tanks (wing and centerline) by June or August.

But that’s just a THEORY-
