Nor do I. The point is if we apply the same prototype / testbed politics to US for example suddenly their tt would be twice as big as it currently is.
My problem with testbeds or concept vehicles is that they’re often not actually armed or armored and I don’t want to see guess-vehicles with made-up stats and armor layouts. F-16AJ not being the brochure AJ is already enough. At least it’s 1:1 F-16A and not some fictional abomination…
For example Yak-141 at least follows the documentation and had all of it’s elements functional in one way or another

T-84 series, K2 Black panther, Tank EX, north koreas tanks are propably to obscure, but generaly we got enough unqiue mbt series left to hold another year or 2

Well it’s no surprise that smaller countries may not have the huge MIC the US has, and it’s fair that minor nations thus have a greater proportion of prototypes in their tree. Doing so for the US would only bloat the tree and wouldn’t make it more enjoyable

Honestly there’s not a single standalore tech-tree suggestion I support. They all need sub-trees or to be a combined nation.
They got no unique mbts and thats a fact

And I was talking about nations in-game. not all of them have MBTs left some of them are out of ones to add.
I dont like the idea of benelux as well. Yugoslavia and ex-yugoslavia nations, Turkey, Brazil/South America, and Visegrad has more interesting options, especially on MBT and AAs.

Nope. Simply stating a fact.
The problem is space for the sub-tree is running out. (we got 2 at most 3 nations left that could take one)
and the current place your nation’s vehicles wherever is a screw you that can’t keep going on forever.

In my opinion, Yugoslavia is the best all-round tree to add.
But if you only look at top tier MBTs, then you might say Korea or Turkey are the best nations to add, and while they do have a strong top-tier ground tree with unique MBTs, you’ll end up with half-trees with a poor air tree to support it, and like the Israel experiment proved, that’s not a recipe for a popular tree.
The best trees are balanced trees, and while i never said the Benelux was the best of them, at least it’s balanced.
