The problem is War Thunder first and foremost is a WW2 game. As can be seen but literally everything else. And this can be seen by basically everything else despite the lack of attention to it vehicles of as late most modes are still built around it and they still have the most BRs.
And Nation-based tech-tree fits well in that system.
I think is less that “Tech-trees” are disspring and more like they are becoming a general representation of that nation. Over being manufacturer trees.
The modern German tech is going to Italy because they added Hungry to it and Hungry uses that tech.

if you start with support vehicles uptering a whole 1-2br lvls higher , UK got them as well with the roikat

The highest BR Rooikat is 8.7. The Puma (and I think TAM 2C, though I’m not 100% sure) are 10.0. That is quite a large difference.
That’s why I say that it no longer makes sense to talk about technology trees. Throughout the forum, even by the same snails, it continues to be an argument widely used to demolish expectations.
