Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Well dodging an 9M in a tornado is hard
we will see what they will do but i feel everyone but USSR and USA is going to get screwed

Dodging a 9G is hard in a Tornado F3, but in an ideal world, a Tornado F3 should be a mile below anything with 9Ms (and they are finally about to be, only take a year)

Yeah, probably

I think it 's more likely to be the other way around: the 29SMT has reason for us to expect it to be restricted in AAM armament, it 's the least capable of the Fulcrum series which can carry guided a2g weapons and may very well be capped at BR for lineup purposes, more effective models like K and M/35 getting the better a2a weapons instead.
However, the 141 is the definite end of Yakovlev fighter development so it could reasonably be expected to continue being allowed to move up in capability ( and BR ) to maintain it 's end-of-tree position.( and, it 's high research costs )

At first I was going to say the Barak II, but then I remembered it never carried them

However, supposedly the radar for the F-16I Sufa was spotted in the files about 1-2 months ago, before Air Superiority came out…

Maybe, though that would still be an F-16. Would leave mutliple nations in the dust in terms of Flight performance

Japan is pretty easy next in line is F-15J MSIP with AIM-120B

F-2, aswell

Ehh depends F-2s only carries AAM-4s unlike F-15Js

Again, thats going to leave every other nation in the dust, unless they added like for like, which they cant do for Britain, France or Germany

With that in mind it would be

US: F-15
UK: Sea Harrier FA2/Tornado F3
Germany: F4F-ICE
Japan: F-15/F2
Israel: F-15/F-16
Sweden: Gripen C
USSR: Su-27
Italy: F-16A
France: Nothing?
China: J8-F/J-10

There 's still the gunpod for the Mirage 2000D RMV in the files, my personal speculation is that they’ll be given that plane w/ IIR AAM 's in place of their non-existent AMRAAM equivalent.

Yeah, thats possible

I don’t think Italy’s F-16 ADF will get AMRAAMs, gotta have something to stay at 12.0

They have the Harrier II+, which had them

They could always simultaneously add AMRAAM’s to worse airframes and good ones with a massive decompression surge. If they were ever going to do a major rebalance that would be the time to do it.

They could get a second F-16A though

They never had any functional F-16As aside from their ADFs. If I remember right, the spare block 10s they got were purely for parts

What, from Romania ? Smin 's said in the past that Italy 's training/spares airframes won’t be considered for addition.

They have 2 options:
1st option
Renaming the first Mirage 2000-5F SF1:
Replacing S.530F by MICA-EM only and fixing Magic-2
+
Adding a new Mirage 2000-5F-Vi standard with Both MICA-EM/IR

2nd option
Only adding MICA-EM/IR on the already existant aircraft.

For Mirage 2000D RMV would have MICA-IR which is a 60km IR missile, with 50G in short range and 30-35G at 60km (battery is the limiting component)

Mirage 2000D-R2 is not capable of MICA.

No, literally a F-16A but armed with Aim9L/i and AMRAAM instead. But at a higher BR, or they could get Hungarian Gripen C
