Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

do we realy want gajin to give them IRIS-T, gajin gonna raise their BR so high because 2 IRIS-T missles the tornado gonna be incredible crap. Imagine Tornado having to fight typhoons

I wouldn’t mind them on ASSTA 3.1 tho. 3.0 could sit at lower BR with AIM-9Li/M

oh god pls no, you want to make them seperate aircraft with the only change being the missle

Squadron ASSTA 3.0 ))))

I guess Tornado IDS ASSTA 3.1 would be 12.0 it’s balanced

Gajin might consider expand higher 11.3 for Tornado IDS ASSTA 1 after receiving AIM-9L/i ? 🤔

I wonder what the British are doing with there’s that they helped make huh

like i said 12.0 max, it does not compet versus the other current 12.3 aircraft in the slightest

realy shouldnt, its only better IRCCM, the missle still has smoke. If the SU-39 can have R-73s this shouldnt be a problem either

well it is super sonic but has the IRCM on it and turns better the Tornado

pzh2000 for germany and a boxer variant for the tech tree, and for japan either a new type 10 with aps or a thailand subtree but i think its gonna be a type 10 with aps

Good joke

Fun fact when Canada was about to buy F-35s in 2011 they were to get a modified variant known as CF-35.

With the order that was put in back in 2023, Canada is to be getting that variant just slightly modified/modernized.

Or at least that is what I could find. between reading random articles and stuff on the Government of Canada website.

The British are trying to get there’s to use Meteor and believe other European nations are trying to get IRIS-T to work as well

OK here is what I could find with a basic search:
“The additional characteristics confirmed for the CF-35 included the drag chute pod for landings at short/icy arctic runways, as well as the ‘sidekick’ system, which allows the CF-35 to carry up to 6 x AIM-120D missiles internally (instead of the typical internal capacity of 4 x AIM-120 missiles on other variants).”

Now remember Canada has yet to receive them and this is subject to change these are just what is known. This just what is seems to be publicly available for now.

Inb4 defector to Russia so USSR gets one too
