The problem is Gaijin has locked itself into a corner by making out the 5 researchable lines max thing and a Sub-tree is a line in the main tree.
We only have at most 3 trees that could take a sub-tree in the game with how Smin on the Dev act.
And the only answer to that problem is more independent tech-trees. And wala back to square one.

Sub-trees have been added in a very poor way and I intend to make a suggestion on a different way of making them.
i don’t think the British one will due to making its BR increase leaving Britain without a 12.3
I think the Swedish one when it comes will have AMRAAMS
For me, subTTs are a bad idea from the start.
We should have stuck to adding vehicles on a case-by-case basis, and not closed the doors like that by giving to a nation all what another one used, even if it used stuff from anoother one.
I think the British should get the SAAF Mirage with the mig-29 engine as a premium : )

If they would only add stuff that brings money they wouldn’t add anything besides US top tier premiums, and you know it.

I wouldn’t say that is true, as giving less popular nations more attention grants them more popularity by proxy, but Gaijin isn’t investing enough into making these nations so interesting that they’d garner a huge following.
Sub-trees do alleviate this situation, but in a strange manner.
