Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Curious about if the Devs are actually trying to work on Japan’s jet options with some CAS capabilities. I already found images of the T-4’s/prototypes, T-1A/prototypes, T-33A capable of being armed with CAS options and so on. Would love to know what their goal is for Japan cuz right now it just feels like they are really neglected and least worked on. Modern tanks and modern jets are doing fine so far, I’m more concerned for the early jets mostly.

Slap a T-1A, the T-33A, and lower the R2Y2 V1 to 7.3, V2, V3 to 7.7 that’s pretty much enough to give Japan a better and smoother fighting chance while we patiently wait for the rest.

Japan doesn’t print money, so Gaijin doesn’t care about it nearly as much as other nations.

It’s an unfortunate irony, since more attention for them would mean there would be more interest.
Of course the neglected trees get less income.

Indeed, it is.

No money no honey, no honey no money.
The situation becomes obvious once you open the store page and look how many packs each nation has.
PS when I asked them on the Russian forum, why some nations had so few packs in the store, they said “it doesn’t make commercial sense to make them for smaller playerbases”.

So don’t expect that anything will be changed in their position on smaller in-game nations.

In other words, “the way we’re handling these nations causes them to have few players, and them having few players is why we’re handling them the way we are”.

What does your name mean, by the way?

It’s Argonian like name, I’m a fan of the Elder Scrolls universe, translation would be “Watches-the-stones”)
PS that’s why I also have a lizard profile picture on the forum XD

How rude. I’ll have you know I’m sweetened with molasses.

Yeah, but you’re no red crayon. You’re a green one at best.

What do you mean German camo? The US star was still painted on the freaking aircraft lmao.

A lot of the devs are still on holidays. There is orthodox christmas (iirc) that is celebrated later than normal christmas.

Don’t expect much until later in january.

They probably got that part from British doctrine that detailed tactics against MiG-29s which was essentially to spam weapons lock with their superior radars and force the MiG-29 defensive.

Four tornadoes were required to keep one MiG-29 suppressed with continual weapons lock and to maintain stand off ranges.

That’s definitely a contributing factor, but in my opinion I feel like players primarily chose their trees based on the vehicles and capabilities offered. Sure there are some who play due to patriotism and what have you, but they make up a small yet vocal minority.

Imagine a new air player seeing Japan with next to no aircraft - as they did in real life - and saying why bother when they can do USA and Russia in order to get a wide variety to play all the way up to top tier.

This has been something that minor nation mains or people who are from said minor nation have been saying for a long time, but there isn’t any proof to back it up.

Last I checked, Germany is no longer interesting in acquiring F/A-18s, so, no.

Hmm thats intetesting. Numbers say there are 4k Japanese games as opposed to 600, but I only checked 11.7 as opposed to 11.3.

British top tier air for 3 years

Las time I’ve checked Sweden no longer acquiring T-80U & Mi 28 ect.

So that not really an argument point
