Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

If the Arietes and Type 10 get even remotely fixed, I will be happy.

I mean Britain just got the SA Gripen and Italy could get the Hungarian one.

Remember the Chinese F-5 came before the US one

Maybe the F-4F ICE for when AMRAAMs arrive?

Yes, however the only considerable difference between the pre-production variants for the game would be weaponry, and even then it’s not that large.

It was said to be planned for Air Superiority, so I doubt it.

I was thinking of that but then yet another F-4 wouldn’t be good for marketing since we got like a barge load of them

isnt part of the problem that there arent real counterparts ? ignoring the obvious 2a7hu for italy at one point

@Shay Didn’t Smin also teased another British jet too ?

I haven’t seen him say anything about that, but if so, a Typhoon is in the cards.

i think thats more a case of tornado or harrier with amraams not the typhoons

Right at the bottom

Wasn’t that in reference to the JAS39C?

Yeah and more

“As we said, one is on the way for the British tree” - That part was the Gripen

“As well as other aircraft in the future too” - totally new aircraft

That can mean anything, though. He could say that the F-22 will come, but that doesn’t mean it’ll come any time soon.

From what smin said it sounds far away

PR people tend to say anything to temper expectations when it’s necessary, and “not coming any time soon” is relative.

Yea true but with BvvD & Smin confirming both German and a British top tier jet then I say prototypes Typoons.

As I already said the market will need a boost to promote AMRAAM’s and the Typhoons will do just that rather than just another F-4 or Harrier.

BVVD said that the jet might come in Air Superiority, however, and so something that has AIM-120s as its main selling point doesn’t make much sense before AIM-120s are added (the JA37D is an exception to this due to also carrying Skyflashes).

Ah fair enough then in that case idk what the German can get as the trailed rule only seems to comply to Sweden
