I did a quick research and it seems like 3rd March 2024 marks the 100th anniversary of the abolition of the Ottoman Caliphate and ending the sultan’s claim to all Islamic world. I am not sure if this is marked with a lot of significance in Turkey today, but this does coincide with when the update drops.
Not very significant when compared to estabilishment of the parliment and the republic I’d say.
Well, yeah, I felt it would be more fitting to introduce it in the November update last year. However, there were multiple things being worked on, new top tiers, Hungary, spike helis, as well as other things, and it is more than likely that gaijin cannot divert effort.
