Historically that’s the exact opposite. In the present day that’s hardly true as well. Being in BRICS does not make one Russia’s ally, especially not militarily.

I’ll give you this much credit however. Once the SMO is over, and Taiwan does or doesn’t happen conclusively, the world alignment certainly suggests that South Africa may enter the orbit of Russia/China’s political influence on a military level. But it isn’t time for that yet.

Given, we have 8 “blufor” and 2 “redfor” nations to call them so, just the thing is that sub-trees have been blurring that line a bit.
For Finland it’s alright, because Sweden is a neutral country itself despite the western styled military, so some “red” equipment in the form of Finnish stuff is fair, but for Italy it was a huge bummer.

Merkavas & Magach were given to US. Not 1 or 2 … but 4! Only to get a proper Israeli TT later.
Same happened with UK’s Swedish Strv and the Chinese vehicles in US & USSR tree.
And recently UK got the T-90 Bhishma as well.
I’ve been seeing multiple suggestions recently for a Polish TT in WT. On the other hand, Gaijin already added Leopard 2PL to Germany. (The Indonesian Leopard 2RI could’ve been a better candidate for that now, don’t it?)
So … what I ask is, instead of doing a “T-72M2 Moderna” again for USSR i.e adding a Soviet vehicle mod from a nation with a tree/sub-tree potential, instead add from minor nations. Like the T-72AV TURMS-T.
In simpler terms: don’t add Slovenian M-55S or Polish PT-91 or Czech T-72M4CZ etc to USSR in future, instead add Iraqi T-55 Enigma or Belarusian T-72BM2.
And also introduce a separate Polish + Czech separate tree (and maybe add Ukrainian vehicles there too).
Then, again Yugoslavia in WT has been a long due.

We have a partial Irish vehicle in WT as is, the Vickers mk11 ;) (iirc its partially based on Irish armoured vehicle stuff)
I agree though it would be nice to get a few more designs from them and other minor Western European nations ^^.
