In my opinion, what they should have done with the Barak II is added it with only AIM-9Ls and Python-4s (and without those bloody AIM-9Ps), so that it’s the best short-range fighter, but the tradeoff is that it has no BVR missiles.

Iirc the SEPv4 is cancelled after some prototypes were tested. They are now working on the M1E3, whatever that may become.

I think it could theoretically mount trophy. However I doubt it ever did.

Swiss Hornet is the only possibility for me since it actually existed and was in service, not to mention the Swiss Hunter which is already there. And of course it’s not like Swiss Hornet would need any sub-tree anyway since SAAF JAS39C exists without it.

Reasoning behind trailed Hornet simply isn’t very convincing to me

Trialed vehicles are far more prominent in tech trees recently than such one-offs have been.
The trialed vehicles at least had German pilots and were in Germany.

Some trialed vehicles were also painted with roundels from the nations that trialed them.

Playing top tier, i would say Germany is far more biased right now. I might be wrong because of amount of new players that bought premiums and dont know how to play them
