You’re forgetting the singular most important question :
What ship more problematic (and even more fake) than Soyuz can the soviets have if we go by this rule ?
I’d much rather have a fixed Soyuz and iconic ships fighting and not drawing board ones with (most likely) the same balancing issues.
France is also most likely to receive a new top tier blue water ship, though i have no idea what it could be since afaik there’s no battleship left that would respect the “laid down” rule after Gaijin kind of fumbled with the addition of Jean-Bart as premium.
I can’t say whether the list of Ar 234 B-2, Duke of York, and Giulio Cesare will be true or not, but it’s from the same person who got the premiums of the last update right.
That long list? No.
That part seems to be more of a long-term one, they first posted about it about a month ago.
I’ll let you in on a secret: the A-150 fits the “unfinished” category, since its guns and turrets were already produced. So he will appear in the game sooner or later.
Like has been said numeros time, suggestion can be made if the vehicle have unique part made for it (like the german O class that had the engine made i think)
Yes, yes, yes, the only nuance is that if some part of the ship’s design hadn’t been created, it wouldn’t have even been accepted in the proposal. It’s also written in the rules.
But as we can see, the proposal was approved.
By the way, the design for the German Type “0” battlecruiser was also approved, although only the engine was built, and the ship itself was never laid down.
Indeed. That’s because, under their “ship must have been laid down” criteria, produced guns, turrets or engines counts; because while it isn’t strictly that the hull itself began construction, you could say that the ships themselves DID begin construction.
Montana’s 127mm turrets were made and installed on Midway-class carriers after being cancelled;
A-150’s main guns we’re made and scrapped after being cancelled.
Why should Soyuz be implemented with fantasy armor which it could never had had, but not these ships which had their construction started?
The only difference between A-150/Montana and Soyuz is that they were sensible and feasible designs which could actually have been physically and logistically constructed as designed, unlike Soyuz’s ingame implementation.
