Yea weird plane, Ukrainian engines looks like a Temu F-35, as in WT I don’t know how will they add it as I don’t even know what weapons they plan to add it, so I don’t think it will be added in WT for at least 2-3 years

didnt count them

if your are talking about plane, no. everything eles yes. SAMs / helis / radars / apc / spaa / tanks.
also mentioning the weapons. they are both latest US made weapons and newer turkish weapons.

by 2027 they will have this.

F-35 / F-16V blk70 / Maybe Blk50 V / Blk30 OZGUR / blk50 OZGUR / Eurofighter T4. ( not confirmed but will likely get 2-4 early )

Turkey do have a domestic F-16 PoBIT equivalent.

Turkey decided that instead of purchasing the F-16V modernisation kits they would instead buy new built F-16V’s and upgrade their aging F-16 fleet with a domestic program.

The Özgür program are upgrading their F-16C/D Block 30’s to a similar standard to the PoBIT and Block 70/72 with domestic upgrades. (They are also planning to upgrade the rest of their fleet but currently are just starting with the Block 30’s.) They are fitted with Murad 100-A AESA radar, Merlin Fox-2 missiles, Peregrine Fox-3 missiles, EW kit, full colour MFD displays, Centre Pedestal Unit MFD screen, TULGAR HMD, and a few other domestically built systems.

Also their camo looks fantastic.

Quite literally just PoBIT but kebab.

All the Turkish camos look beautiful imo, im a little biased though

is that the english name for gokdogan or whatever it’s called?

Apparently Raytheon also made a missile with this name

True. But F-16 wise Turkish camos are third for me.

First goes to the Polish F-16’s and second goes to the Greek.

(Not counting the special/display team camos because Zeus clears all by far)

Did they get approved?

Didn’t they cancel the package in favoyof domestic upgrades?

It is yeah.

Yeah it seems to be quite a popular name. Raytheon’s Peregrine is meant to be a replacement for AIM-120 on stealth fighters so they can fit more internally.

There’s also the DASAL Peregrine which is a loitering drone munitions being developed also for Turkey.

Look that camo, it’s fireee

+1 for the Özgür, domestic avionics and weapons it’s enough for me

Only the 79 upgrade kits for their older F-16’s were cancelled, they are still buying around 40 new built F-16V’s.

The cancellation of the kits might have actually been the reason we haven’t seen the AIM-120 triple rack since some sources say that was going to be packaged with the upgrade kits.

I prefer the one without the CFT more (I was fooled it’s only with the CFT)

soon.
as i said, 2027.

It’s not gonna pass Congress, I don’t think Turkey has changes of getting F-35 as long as S-400 is in Turkish soil

its not. talks are being done to finish transfer to maybe UAE the s400

A lot of maybes, technically Turkey can get the F-35 as it is been already delivered in the Turkish Airforce

the best thing about turkey plane are their cas obsession.
they have so much option its crazy.

they even adapt the triple rack alike fomr the rafale with ir bombs.
