Also, Isn’t that the arjun?

They are 3 more (this one included )

There could be room for it. The only actual operator of the Tr.9 in the game with a proper subtree is the Netherlands and they don’t have a Mk.9 yet!

Perhaps people also don’t realise that wartime Spitfire operators didn’t have twin-seaters for training and they’re mostly repainted now they’re in civilian hands to look like warbirds, after being converted post-war for export customers to train with. In some cases they’re repainted as they looked during wartime in their previous life as a single-seater.
The only twin-seat Spitfire demonstrated to the RAF was converted from a Mk.8 rather than Mk.9. Which was civilian registered at the time as G-AIDN - So maybe there’s room in the tree since it’s not a Mk.9, but it was a civilian plane, under a Class B experimental aircraft number N32

Note the Mk.7/8 retracting tail wheel that wasn’t on the Mk.9.

India and Ireland were the other T Mk.9 operators besides NL. One was delivered to Egypt but the rest were cancelled before delivery.
Soviets had their own domestically-made Spitfire Mk.IX UTI (nice name) twin-seaters. But that was again a post-war project, so they’re not really warbirds.

I’m counting major/seasonal ones. There’s usually way more content in those.

Yes the one in September, November and December, we have 5 updates per year and for now we had 2 in 2026

not the stagger-wing

It’s silly, why couldn’t they have made this real too, forever left to exist as a paper vehicle

Curse whoever designed this

My eyes still hurt whenever i see that

the plane was never made because the pattent was about a FBW system that might have been able to make such a design flyable, the F-15 is only there for ilustration purposes

But it could’ve been so silly to see even in mockup form. Oh well

Su-47 clears this

well nobody build something like that bc its simply stupid
i dont see any practical use to such a design

with asymetric lift and drag it would be heavily limited in aoa

Memes

It was yeah, top right corner.

So far we have 2 of these come already so it just leaves the XL, Su-15, Arjun, and a Japanese boat I can’t remember the name of.

But by the looks of it we’re getting the single seat F-16XL-1 based on that they seem to have matched it closely with a real photo of it just flipped it around.

well memes dont get military funding tho

That’s the same thinking that stopped me from getting my belt fed 155mm tonk

it cant be the 2 seater bc that one is asymetric and the F-16XL in the decal is symetric
