we have no F-16 in the game, so how does that matter
Hey Smin is there and update to all the ids missing agm 88s? Didn’t link a report as they are all missing them.
Its under consideration.
Okay. Hopefully it comes this update!
For God’s sake, did I miss anything about Russia?
Playing Top Tier GRB in general is literally impossible; matchmaking doesn’t work at all because there’s over 120 people queuing up for Russia VII-VIII while there’s not even 60 across ALL other nations combined…
Should do so long as it gets it’s planned equipment.
In testing no, the original CM dispensers were removed as the mountings for the AIM-120’s would block them.
They were going to be mounted in the blocks at the centre of each wing when it entered full production and service.
But evidently it lost out to the F-15E and was cancelled before any could be fitted.
But when it’s added if we see it with AIM-120 then it will most likely also have these CM dispensers mounted too as it was part of it’s planned equipment.
(Unless it comes with just the gun and AIM-9L’s going off of only what it ever carried).
Was gonna say this but ya beat me to it, thanks
Need for speed → Cope :3
Eh, then I hope it either has no 120 or it comes without CMs, I greatly dislike gaijin doing this rules for thee but not for me when it comes to popular vehicles but then when other vehicles could be added to fill major gaps or fix performance of some vehicles they say no.
So at least for me I’m hoping it comes without the 120, besides around 12.0 I could at least use the wacky flight performance more often
There’s a kind of crap drawing of the Bucc’s long pointy backwards-teardrop pod being envisaged for Tornado in Panavia’s 1978 brochure. Again it’s between the two TV Martel drawings in the diagram, implying it would be on the centreline pylon as shown in the 1976 page headed M/FM 1171/1009/E from “Annex A to AF/CR 2234/70” (not sure I’m reading the handwriting correctly).

Obviously though, if the Buccaneer datalink pod model doesn’t fit on Tornado model with two TV Martels beside it (should be checked with the Martel launchers added though - in case that affects clearances) it’s a bust and IRL Tornado would have probably needed a bespoke pod with a smaller diameter.
I think it will be impossible to play since no AIM-120’s also means no flares or chaff, and since it’s still an F-16 there’s no way it will be low enough BR to where no flares will not matter. You’ll be constantly facing all aspect missiles which you won’t be able to defeat if their in range.
I read it as only testing with the 120s did it lack the CMs, regardless I still stand by my point. I dislike rules for thee, the US already has plenty of aircraft that benefit from this and gaijin continues to ignore other similar aircraft that need artificial buffs.
If gaijin starts adding those types of fictional or planned things then everything needs to get them, not just a handful, I’m still wanting the planned upgrades and things not tested on the Yak 141 removed as it’s paramount to being fictional.
Not gonna happen I know but I’m tired of gaijin only doing this for big nations and leaving other vehicles that need these types of changes left to rot or completely out of the game.
being pilot sniped by M163s that arent using their radars is so fun…
No different from a few years ago where they could pilot snipe you at 5km lol when they were the mid field random ai AA
Yep, I somehow got hit from 4km by a Shilka earlier. No idea how and haven’t seen it happen since.
The SPAA are completely broken. Every time the run the test the AA get worse every single time.
Unfortunate. But thanks for the extra info.
at least its stealing kills from the lowlifes that are taking A-10a with only missiles or mig 21s with R60
Hey @Smin1080p_WT can this report get checked? I know it is a minor visual bug but it does make the game look weird with bugs like it
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/R6XCpCcTV3jl
cant wait for gaijin to find a way to disapoint
