It was more to say there isn’t a service vehicles equal/better then them and again Germany has 1 12.7 and 3 12.3s. again Sweden has 3 12.7s all with better armour then anything German and then a 12.0 light tank (if you can call it that lmao fat thing) and now they all have dm53 what’s the benefit in Germany if you have worse armoured Leopards and only 1 12.7.
Again I’m not counting the 2a6s as 12.7s they are 12.3s

Thing is, I believe:
2A8 > 122B+
2A7V > 122B PLSS
2A7A1 = 122A
Roughly, even using only production variants, Germany would be on par with Sweden.
Sure, 2A7A1 doesn’t have fully upgraded hull armor, but it has 3rd gen thermals vs 1st gen.
All 2A7s and 2A8s have 3rd gen thermals vs 122s’ 1st gens; as well as L/55 guns vs 122s’ L/44s, even though the gap is now smaller because Sweden for some reason got DM53.
Regarding KE effectiveness, it’s true that the armor of the 2A7s is underperforming because Gaijin didn’t implement their improved internal compositions, but it’s also true that 670mm KE is, gameplay wise, as unpennable as 750mm KE.

All 3 have was worse armour. Only benfits from trophy but pretty terrible armour in the case do 2a7a1 trophy with it identical to 2a7V and again 2a7V is also just again worsely armoured. Worse tanks for fancy thermals and 20mm more of pen. It’s irrelevant
It’s just not you have 3 tanks with worse armour again for fancy thermals and 20mm of pen and trophy what tbf will be nice but it’s still going to be worse. And the 2a8 won’t be German only it’ll go to Sweden as well
670mm KE is as immune as 750mm KE when the enemies pen 560-630mm, though! Gameplay wise they are functionally identical. When has any Leopard 2A7 ever been penned in the 670mm KE zone?
Yeah, and that’s where 2A7+, Technologieträger, etc, come in play :P

Wouldn’t it be just a cooler-looking AMV, with the same armor unable to withstand 9.7 shells and still without blowout panels?
I’ve read that it should have improved internal armor, but I doubt Gaijin would implement it without absolutely undeniable evidence and solid figures.

it’s a cool vehicle that sharpens what was already sharpened from the AMV yet the hull…it is but it’s a very heavy lifting statement to call it improvement XD
