Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Or a Churchill and a Sherman Firefly? I personally started playing again in januari of 2016 because the Churchill was added into War Thunder two weeks before that and it’s a vehicle that can be seen in many WWII children’s comics in Belgium together with US tanks and the Cromwell.

Hi Smin, there is possibility that gaijin will expand ASB maps, to 250*250KM maps from nuclear thunder in the next few majors till december?

How many bots your game must have to find the starter Japanese ship as most popular

Indeed.

When I think of UK WW2 vehicles, it went: Churchill, then Firefly.

fair enough. I thought you meant within War Thunders context.

According to statshark people play tigers more often in recent months. And tiger h1 is most played tank since moment statshark started recording data. And as Smin said, tiger is most iconic german ww2 tank and one of german most iconic tanks in general. You would ask random person on streets about german tanks and tiger or leopard would be their most common answer.
On top of that triple packs are based on researchable vehicles (+decorations), not premiums.

Good evening Smin,

can we expect some cool or informative things next week maybe?

Avenger slander will not be tolerated.

Now we just need the F-105G and it will be peak

Screw the F-16XL, I want that F-15 with the staggered wing so I can inflict people with immense psychic damage upon seeing its unholy visage.

Not yet but in .91. Shrikes were added a couple of days ago but shortly removed again after. Let’s see if this happens again

Oh nah, I checked each month since june 26 till feb 25 and people still play it more than turm. Unless noob influx is THAT huge

The British pack was themed around the Firefly and the general overlord theme. The Centurions were considered, but really outside of the scope of what the initial packs were aimed around. That being Rank III packs based on a BR line-up around the main WW2 BRs. A tanks objective “success” in real life is not a factor for the packs.

For Germany, the Tiger was the clear uncontested choice from every angle. With the Firefly being the main focus of the British pack, the Avenger was a suitable second vehicle for a well rounded pack alongside the Crusader AA.

As we mentioned before, we don’t rule out the possibility of higher BR/ Rank packs in the future. But that was not the point nor the focus of the first 3.

Is there any possibility we could see the F15EX in the near future?

Maybe.

it would be nice having an AESA vehicle in the US tree but I have a slight suspicion that Gaijin is waiting for a comparable or “better” russian thing before adding it.
