there are afaik no offical stats on the PL-12 so its more accurate to say the the SD-10A is the PL-12 for all matters (and that is what gaijin thinks to some extent), but anyway there are multiple sources in that bugreport that show that the SD-10A should only have 70km range
Not all of them, standard rules still apply, for example Community Manager Amberlight commented on the Su-47 last month ^^
Similar reasoning behind Object 640 ultimately not being implemented :')
It would bw easier if it was completely set in stone what the Su-47 was officially planned to be equipped with if it was ever independently developed further
Curious but I wonder if other tech demonstrators/scrapped designs (not paper designs) that had clear plans for production would be acceptable. Something like the F-15SE.
Whilst no actual F-15SE never flew it’s tech demonstrator, F-15E1, did fly with a decent chunk of the planned equipment for it (RAM, CWB, some sources also say AESA radar). We also know a great deal of what is was planned to be so wondering whether it would be possible on the basis that it’s tech demonstrator flew with a number of the planned setup.
I would imagine if its similar to the Yak-141 (planned production but never reached production stage) it should be fine, but obviously I’m not a developer or informed abt the F-15SE / F-15E1 so I can’t really say much
UAE pantsir for USA
That would open a very large can of worms that I really don’t think needs to be opened. If you think the copy paste is already really bad, this would make it even worse. There would be no point in even having tech trees anymore.
I changed that sentence about twice halfway though, in hindsight I should have checked it a third time and removed the “all”.
I hope that fun russian aircraft is the Su-15 that was on the new years decal
Indeed. Though i still have hopium that we could see something like the Object 219M with burlak or even stuff like the 187s.
Gaijin has already opened that can to be fair, moreover USA actually has a captured Libyan Pantsir. So it’s not completely unreasonable to add Pantsir in USA TT.
Don’t get me wrong, I want to see more domestic american SPAAs but none of them will be close to the Pantsir.
The only captured tanks in game are all ww2 era. There are no captured modern tanks in game. A few countries only have other nations tanks through subtrees. Like the bhishma Britain gets through India, the 2a6 France gets through the Netherlands, the 2a7 Italy gets through Hungary, and the M1A2 China gets through Taiwan just to name a few. And they are all in minor nations to fill gaps, with the exception of the Merkavas that were given to the US tech tree before Israel was added as its own tech tree.
IIRC the Israeli Tiran’s are captured
Same with the Israeli ZSU
Sometimes, but not sure what gap the Belgian M44 and 2a5 fill
The gap that didnt require you to grind even more RP
nothing that cant be filled by an existing French vehicle like the rest of that mistake of a subtree thats for sure.
For the M44, so people don’t complain that X operator (with a home) is missing yet. As more than enough complaints about half or more operators of a vehicle getting it, yet others who also used it in game with a home didn’t. (when it was one or two nations more, after the other 3+ got it)
The Dutch 2A5 likely options/starting point of a line-up and likely a might as well, they were doing all the others.
It’s not like it’s alone being a one-off at a BR; when I did UK 6.X, you have next to nothing per-BR from 5.7-7.3, with 5.3 and 7.7 being the last time you have a line-up and the first time since doing those BRs. That range not also shows why the “unique” sub-tree is disliked; it makes you wish for “C&P” as then you’d have something playable.
Nah. Sub-TTs are exclusively for patching holes in TTs that cant be filled with a native option. Gaijin doesnt replace native options with far easier and quicker C&P options. So if they added that then clearly there was 0 other option

Alright, quickly tell me, the result of that calculation game is 249, which means in the next version Italy will get aw249, right?
