I am still waiting on the Tiger UHT getting the same loadout options as the Tiger HAC, which got them on release.
When the UHT reports existed since years.
I already gave up on making you forward them, since it got ignored either way by the devs…
That the UHT lacks the capabilities of the HAC is just sad
Im not sure what relevance this comparison has here, as nobody made that claim they were directly equal.
Its been explained many times before, that whenever a tank(s) thats already perfoming on or slightly above the average for its BR receives a more powerful shell, its BR is highly likey to also increase due to their performance increases. We Initally held of the British APHE for this reason, and explained that was a consideration. People still wanted to see it. So we introduced it. As expected, their new performance then required a BR increase. So there really wasn’t anything unexpected there.
As we have already mentioned, a deeper steering wide review is planned. This is part of that. It doesn’t mean other matters can be addressed in the meantime, or that nothing else matters.
Oh, I am aware of the new planned steering standards across ALL tanks! However, Type 10’s steering is broken within current steering standards. It would have been cool to have it fixed within current standards before the new ones finally come to the game. It’s been 6 years of the tank pulling a 180º turn over pressing A/D for 0.47 seconds.
In any case, I am looking forward to all of that, since you’ve mentioned it; and, like I’ve said other times, I hate sounding grumpy and I’m sorry I raged again about these issues hahah, but I’m just sad that some Top Tier MBTs have been broken for 3-6 years with “accepted” bug reports that are yet to actually be addressed, like the numerous proven missing spall liners (2PL, CR2s, 99A…), CR2’s ammo rack issues (size and replenishment speed), SEPs’ side CE armor and all Abrams fuel tank bulkheads (still wrong in plating and thickness even in the reworked ones), 99A’s carousel positioning being way too low and thus directly having a negative artificial impact on its survivability, etc.
Speaking of HMD’s any hope more fixes will come for some with this update? Stuff like missing radar lock boxes, working RWR symbology, and blue forces trackers for the ones that should have it (JHMCS for example)? If you can say that is.
Speaking of, is there any update on the 6pdr APHE now that the dust has somewhat settled on the 75mm APHE? Or do we need to start banging the drums again haha
And if you were to take the wishlists of say 100 people and notice 80 out of 100 have an overlapping wish for bug X to be fixed along with the other bugs you would fix bug X and move on to the next most important bug
Given the effects of the previous changes and mixed feedback as a result since the BR changes, its not currently in any plans for the time being. So perhaps a future consideration.
That’s a real shame, but I appreciate the response.
I do think the BR changes were a bit of a knee jerk reaction - for about 10 years now British ground has been a tree that new and inexperienced players have avoided and been told not to play because of the struggles of solid shot compared to APHE, so of course a playerbase made up predominantly of very experienced players, accustomed to dealing with the massive inconsistency of solid shot, will make APHE seem pretty damn effective statistically. But if Britain was to receive APHE across the board (where realistic - so the 75mm and 6pdr) I firmly believe this stigma of the tree being inaccessible to new players would greatly diminish, and as a result the ‘veterancy’ (for want of a better word) of the tree would decrease and the vehicles would be much more balanced from a statistical POV, when they are not only being played by high level and high playtime players.
