Another day…
Another day without gambling boxes…
Idk if this has been mentioned yet but one last interpretation of the last question I have seen is a August divided by 4.
this would give us a 2 and would end up as 20/8/2026.
This is a Thursday in 2 weeks, which makes sense with the general event timetable Gaijin has used for the past years. To me it seems almost to easy, especially with the deliberate use of “pinpoint the exact quarter of the month” but seeing as the prior question were also rather simple, this might just be it
Day 1253 of waiting for Polish tech tree
Can we expect data link any time soon? I would love to have Link 16 with my wingman in Sim, it would make the game way more fun. Also that would lead the way ( WHEN we get bigger maps for Sim like nuclear thunder with length up to 240x240km and even bigger ones) we may see researchable AWACS that players can use or even Naval cooperation aircraft like the P-3 (we can already get those)
I assume you mean where one person fires and another guides the missiles?
My main concern there is the trolling potential. Where the ‘teammate’ guides the missile onto an ally instead of the enemy target. So the most id want from that is maybe shared radar contacts?
Even on larger maps, I think these would be better as dynamic AI aircraft, that do something more than just aimlessly fly about, but I dont see much reason for them to by player controlled.
afk RP farm (for both the one who plays and who shoots at it)
Yeah, pretty much :D
Ohhh you reminded me when with some friends i always wanted a silly gamemode where 2 players in the same squad guide a vehicle, that is a tank, a ship or a dual seater jet
Tbh a dream that will never come true XD
Now that would be really fun.
2 person vehicles would be a really interesting addition to the game
Id love to be the navigator handling the weapons whilst someone else handled the flying for example
Seeing the teamplay with just single person controls I have zero faith in any dual controls for this game.
Exactly! :D
Reminds me when once i did it for fun with a friend in presence in my room, he was holding the mouse and I the keyboard, the laughs and skill issue was hilarious
Not just that all the package from seeing what the others guy radar sees, he’s location basically everything
Okey I understand about the AWACS but not the P-3 and all other planes like them that they are build to hunt ships, we already have maps with multiple ships that the P-3 could be useful
No, I would like to fly huge planes and providing info to my teammates, I would also like to have cargo planes but this is for a combine arms mode where you also have ground and helis (all of this in Sim mode) and you can very easily put failsafes for rp farming from limited spawns to many other nerfs
Maybe… Id want to see them totally overhaul naval targets first, and there would have to be some gurantee that you could only get into matches with naval targets as well.
That is the main thing Id want from it, though Id just start by allowing RADAR and IRST to be used at the same time :D
Nuclear thunder was a good start about naval convoys, they should take that and multiple it by also having tankers that we already have in game and put them also in the convoys.
Also you can limit the datalink to only squadmates with actual compatible aircraft (F-16 to F16 not F-16 to Su-30)
This is also the issue with buddy lasing
Yep, the closest I can think to a “buddy lasing” system in-game, would be the ability to share an aiming point with the rest of your team.
Another way to implement buddy lasing is to give the player a scout uav(which the player has to spawn first using a light tank). The player can get a option to switch between the aircraft and the scout uav. Using the scout UAV the player would designate the target for laser guided munitions
The whole thread turn into crime investigation
Is it a good crime investigation when we identify 50+ suspects?
That could work well in IRB (Infantry realistic battles) but im not sure how well it would work in GRB or ARB.
