Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Oh I didn’t mean to imply you do it for the statpadding. Statpadding just kind of happens automatically in the background when you play a bunch of vehicles in that range.

Like for example I use the Cobra king & Sherman (hell) to grind SL. I play it mainly for the SL, but I’m indirectly padding my stats as well as a byproduct.

Never played the t50 tbh should try it. Hate trying to kill that thing at times
Rank 2 wagers would just be unfair tho

Would be peak

Nah I just mentioned stat padding in general just kinda happens,

Besides if I’m gonna stat pad I’ll play the B-239 below 6.7 props like this 4.7 match in my now 3.0 plane

Seriously noob players just do it to themselves at these tiers, why fire a burst and turn off when you can eat my bullets and go back to the hanger instead

The Update cycles are getting more mad each time. Hopefully with Infantry coming in full that can be reoriented to launching super bazookas as Tanks
Kira has nothing on this two… : r/Gundam

Or one for Tim Curry

Gotta try the Niki or T-126 after the standard model if you end up liking it.

Niki is a less armored T-126 but same speed as the T-50, both are def worth it on sale if you like the base T-50, plus that gun is just so solid

I know most players are beyond saving, but it would also massively help the quality of the overall playerbase if Gaijin actually did anything significant to help/protect their new players.

holy cope
top tier fits that classification more
literally half of the stuff you usually have to estimate such as shell/bomb/rocket trajectory is handed to you on a silver platter by the game. not to mention thermals that help with spotting.

jets has to be the worst cause its literally a point and click game with the AtA missiles.
mid tier is def more skill based than top lmfao.

I might take a look eventually

So is infantry going to get melee weapons?

I want my Banzai Sticks so I can troll in top tier.

Just say you can’t aim…

Both yes and no, skill based match making would be proper hell, but it would do some good if the tutorials for the game weren’t the equivalent murres pushing babies off the edge of a rocky cliff without even letting the player get more than take off and land

I only really play ground vehicles in GRB, so I can’t say too much about helis or CAS.

3.7-6.7 is just so absolutely beyond easy to play, but that is kind of it’s charm.

Tbf the quality of players in the lower BRs is really new and unfamiliar players, mixed with sweats, and casuals who aren’t good with all the changes that modern era bring. The influx of new players makes 1.0-9.0 imo very ez

The smaller maps also help a lot for super aggressive playstyles. M26 and AMX lineup at 6.7 was so peak gaijin, you ruined one of the best seal club lineups 😭

never did i say that mid tier is “hard” or “easy” but more skilled based cause again you dont need to do most of the things in top tier.

same can be said for top tier from the frequent top vehicle sales
people buying their way to the top which happens almost every sale

True but you also kinda ignored a big aspect, yeah top tier adds all these things like being able to have missiles or FnF, but your opponents also have equal weapons. If I choose to get into a dogfight, then I have the same chance of dying to a third party like I would in low tier, additionally needing to manage your RWR and rear from missiles becomes a much larger aspect and compounds the difficulty. Missile can offset it but between a casual and a skilled player the skill ceiling grows larger the higher we go with more mechanics to balance

Jet age stops being just about position and gun skills but that plus watching for missiles and needing to manage where you are to notch or multipath and if you can notch then you are at a bigger disadvantage against someone who knows. Having good missiles isn’t enough to teach a noob about combat at that BR

It really isn’t. High tier can be wildly unpredictable due to many factors. Everyone can technically be anywhere due to strong mobility for example.

In low-mid tier I can see someone, then leave the PC to go walk my dogs, get back to my PC to see that they are finally starting to make a play, leave my PC again to grab a drink and write a book, get back to my PC again with still enough time to accurately predict/estimate their plan while only using 2 braincells.

It really is that easy. It’s why 5.7 US is so goated, you can play it with 2 braincells and still do well in it.
