The MiG-31 accelerates more aggressively than the MiG-25PD we have in-game. That, plus the AMRAAM-like launch of the R-37 (it’s not like a Phoenix… at all) and ~35 G max overload… Yeah, you better duck and pray your jet can detect its radar xD
Hot take/guess:
We get an F-15E Late/F-15E (AESA) before F-15EX. Gaijin would then use this F-15E to give it GBU-53 and any other missing armament the Strike Eagle can use.
Then, the F-15EX comes, in all its missile bus glory, right underneath the F-15C Golden Eagle, before the arrival of stealth fighters.
Or, at least, that’s what I’d do.

Sure, but some people will want to bring an aircraft from a lower BR into top tier for whatever reason. Thats what I meant by that. Most people won’t have to worry, except the MSL indicator on RWR will be approaching faster xD
Maybe, but I think it’s more likely for Gaijin to just through in the EX before an F-15E with AESA.
But also realistically would we need an F-15E RMP? I feel like instead of the RMP we could get something a bit more unique like F-15E1, the Silent Eagle tech demonstrator, which supposedly did trial an AESA radar along with RAM coating and could still carry the same armament as the regular F-15E. It would feel like a more worthwhile addition rather than just the same F-15E but with AESA and missing weapons.
I think it’s more likely for the EX to go after the E as there wouldn’t be anything to go in that line for rank 9 otherwise.

with the F22A does this mean the new F22B with iris-t pods and stealth drop tanks will be coming?
It’s still the F-22A, it’s not a separate variant. There was a proposed twin seat version called the F-22B but was cancelled in the mid 90’s.
wouldnt the designation for that be the f22c as b variants are almost always 2 seat trainers?

ive seen people call it F22 2.0 or F22B or just upgraded F22A and i didnt know which was correct
i think its neither or the 3rd one cause B variants are trainers with 2 seats and 2.0 has never been used

thats a figher bomber variant of the f22, i think it was dubbed the strike raptor
I got that in the bomber line between the F-105 and F-111’s.

well the usaf hasnt given it an official name yet but my guess is it will be called the F22C
