Two separate game modes. The base map is the same, but you’d have to model airfields, objectives, ground convoys, etc and hope it’s not a buggy mess.
I’d also like to assume bugs or at least graphical oopsies are harder to find the bigger a map becomes
Add air spawn on top of that, you end up 20km from each other 2 minutes in the match🥲

they are already the models for airfields
they can keep the convoys as they were (just nerf the OSA and flakrad)
Actaully, I dont mind that too much, because instead of climbing from stationary all from a single point, you are already at speed and alt and spread out. So whilst you are thinking about combat much sooner, when that point comes the aircraft are a lot more spread out.
With AF spawn, even the best climbers, would still be traveling whilst climbing.
16 players taking off from a single point always felt really messy to me at top tier

oh kinda forgor what about an ahs (the swedish ah64) will it get an mk.2 variant for the agm-178 missiles that the us uk chinese and ect have (the ir hellfires)
I still have very strong reservations about adding A2A refueling in WT. But at least on a 300km² map, there might be some mitigation

Well, only after they moved the spawn points further away from each other, had more than a few A2A crashes because you spawned within less than 500m of 2-3 teammates all trying to maneuver

Far more likely that our MH-60 will replace the AHS given its in service and can actually mount hellfire thanks to the recent purchase of the rails and missiles and you could argue for it to receive JAGM
Not to mention our Fennec can replace the MI-28A
