There are certainly a load of reports that have been sat accepted for way too long. Like 3 or 4 years old.
Buc S2 getting Napalm
CR2 Ready rack
etc etc
Or more a bit more recent like sorting out the mess that is the Typhoon cockpit
The Arietes had an armour overhaul last major update. CR.2 in particular has had a huge amount of dev time and attention, as well as individual blog posts directly on it (as well as CR.1). Its more than fair to say the Challengers receive their fair amount of attention.

Even as a Russian main exclusively , i’ve refused to touch those. In honor of those poor guys suffering against. Genuinely no joke, logged off of 12.7 match after seeing an adats go into battle alone with half his team decapitated.

And they’re still wrong according to the accepted bug reports…so, are we just leaving them ahistorically inaccurate forever because devs have spent too long on it?

Yep, L27A1 is too OP, its unfair for the Abrams with A2 shells to compete with them
