About the Korea thing, “South-Korea” is officially the “Republic of Korea”, so yes, @ron_23 is right.
There’s no more than 5 “Magachs” left that could be added to War Thunder, 20 is a bit much lol. Main ones I know of being the Magach 7A, and the Magach 7 Prototype shown with hollow armor. Now there’s also the Merkava Magach(s), 2 of them, but I don’t really count those given their names are just what they’ve been dubbed as. That’s 4 tanks bearing the Magach name left to be added, if you’re willing to include the merkys. I could also get if you want to count the Pereh given its made to appear as one, so 5 here.
Now if you’re also willing to include the Sabras (I don’t count them as Magachs at all) there’s the Sabra Mk.1 Prototype before it was fitted with armor, the Sabra Mk.1’s upgrade called the Mk.2 Prototype (and often called the Mk.3, but the Mk.3 name doesn’t appear to truly exist), there’s the Sabra Mk.2, and the M60T Prototype. There’s also Iron Fist versions of the Mk.2 and Mk.1 late, so a total of about 5 more here.
Even depending on what you consider a Magach, the number isn’t near 20, at most it’s 10, and on a rational basis it’s only 2-4.

I disagree with them becoming a nation since you’ll have the problem of having an Israel 2.0 again. Imho they should be subs to China and the US respectively, I mean what sub tree can Korea even have ? Burma, Vietnam, Cambodia & Laos ?

I think Korea coming as a United Korea as it were is way better as USA doesn’t need more vehicles and other Countries getting Korean vehicles wouldn’t go down well at all IMO.

Tbh I don’t think need is a reason anymore with subs, I think gaijin keeps adding them because it increases players who are nationalist. If we go by need then most nations will be at 1 or not at all I mean look what Japan will bring when Indonesia comes on line lol
I mean from the CM update it is talking about Korea coming as its own Standalone TT so I imagine the focus would be on Korean vehicles then whatever sub tree’s could be add or if added at all would come much later down the line IMO.

Well as I say it’s gonna be tight with only 4 not very big nations to choose from to be their subs but yeah just have to see if plans change or not
IMO Korea Air Tree could be really cool if we get the KAI-21 and I look forward to the KAI-FA50. IIRC North Korean Jets is a lot of Russian and Chinese tech. The Ground Tree on the another hand is going be really cool if they add all the crazy North Korean tanks with ATGMS and ofc for the South the K2 Black Panther.

Yeah they rely on old Russian and Chinese equipment. The air side for NK would most likely end around 12.7 as their latest jet is the MiG-29 9.12B so for top tier it would be carried by SK.
SK would also bring in some cool license built stuff like their KF-5E/F and KF-16C/D/U. Also the T-50/FA-50 too.

Low tier will be the major issue with an independent United Korea tree imo. It’d either be Israel 2.0 or a mix of Japenese/Soviet/American stuff and I think either option would not go over well with the community.

NK would be yak’s and La’s and SK would be P51’s and many more going all the way up to Top Tier IMO
Could have the tree start like Israel but also have lower tiers that are optional. That way if you want to start with more domestic vehicles you can do so or if you want the lower tiers you can also have them, gives people on both sides the option to have it their way.
But it’s Gaijin so anything to shorten the grind is very unlikely. Although if by some miracle they do this then we’d have that mechanic ready to use for other TT’s for stuff like optional earlier interwar and WW1 ranks. Would need BR’s to be pushed up or have 0.0-0.9 BR’s solely for them.
