Great to see the removal of BR changes for the F8U and Spitfire mk 24! But that brings the question: does anyone review these changes at all before they are proposed?
Great to see the rank increase for the american and roc Chaffee, lets hope theyll increase the rank of the T77E1 soon aswell.
Later PzIV BR increase is nice to see. @Smin1080p_WT can we expect a rank increase for the PzIVJ and H with the next major update?

Naturally they are reviewed before they are proposed, otherwise they would not be proposed in the first place.

Then why were they proposed to begin with, if i may ask? Both the Spitfire and the F8U were moved from the BR they were proposed to move to, due to being performance outliers. The Spitfire was moved even prior to its statistics changing, but due to the Korea War jets reducing their BR.
Was it feedback that made Gaijin reverse their decision for these two aircraft, or were they added with the intention to be reversed?

As far as the F-15EX, the same as Russia’s Su-35 (China’s J-16 too…) it’s one of the last 4.5 gen aircraft left to be added before the carnage of 5th gen aircraft and/or next-gen weapons

Because both of their statistical performance showed as such. As with all of the Inital proposals.
In cases such as these, they are discussed and put to feedback too. Depending how how well / poorly they are doing, they may be subject to consideration.

I honestly expect the F-15EX, Su-35S and J-16 alongside some next-gen weapons to come with the next major. I think the next few updates after that will focus on adding missing aircraft or new weapons/mechanics until the introduction of gen 5 in December. (It’s also likely air will take the backseat for a few updates) I really do not think they’d add gen 5 in any other update. It’s just too major, arguably as big of a jump if not more compared to apex predators etc.

Not really, we still have F-15E RMP, F-18E/F block 3, F-18F block 2 and maybe F-16 block 70/72 (also EA-18G). I might be missing some.
I really like F-16 and I really want to have F-16E. IIRC it has better engine, IRST and Built in MAWS which would be awesome for both Air RB and Sim. Also I don’t see it being added to any other tree besides the American tree.

Btw since we don’t have a current statement but given the devs want to nerf the IKV 103, is there any chance it would be left unchanged with the IKV 102 taking the role that gaijin wants the IKV to do currently?
There are no known surviving pictures of it, and even the construction of a single prototype is debated.

F-15E RMP does not change enough to warrant an addition, it’s more sensible to jump to the F-15EX especially since Russia has the Su-30SM2 already. The U.S. tree does NOT need another 14.3, it desperately needs a 14.7 aircraft.
F/A-18E Block 3 changes absolutely nothing over the Block 2 in-game for War Thunder gameplay purposes.
It was already said that there isn’t any purpose to an F/A-18F in the U.S. tree when players asked for it following the addition of the Australian one. These could come in the far future as novelty aircraft.
The U.S. does not operate the F-16 Block 70/72, this is why the PoBIT was added this major. Same thing with Germany not getting the KF41. It’s a German tank sure, but not operated by Germany and only sold to export customers.
EA-18G would require a completely new game mechanic and is not a traditional top tier aircraft. It’s not the same.

F-15E RMP is a bit redundant since the F-15EX fills the need of a F-15C/D successor and retains the F-15E’s strike capability (and then some).
F/A-18E/F Block 3… I honestly believe Gaijin could add the Block 3 as an F variant so USA has both 1 and 2 seater Super Hornets… also the super hornets (USA, at least) ingame are iirc Block 2
Another F-16 that’s basically the same as the PoBIT barring the engine probably won’t go anywhere, unless it’s a special vehicle (like event or squadron; similar to F-14 IRIAF) in the future.
