Wouldn’t the Spitfire with a beer keg strapped to it be more BP worthy, since 1 it would be in the Nation of origin of this aircraft. 2 it would have a unique thing to attach in the loadouts.
I get wanting to add a Greek vehicle, but a CW Spitfire in the israeli tree aint it chief.
Honestly why not make the 90th anniversary spitfire the floatplane one, it would be the most unique spitfire you could add.
Thats not what was said at all.
The game develops, changes and evolves. With that, so too do plans made years ago. When that is the case however, we are always sure to explain that and why that is.
I would understand this with a copy and paste Yak-1 but not one that is mentioned having a more powerful engine.
As we mentioned yesterday. Its always possible other Spitfires could appear in the future too.

Yes I understand that, but if the reasoning is something as large as a round number anniversary, adding a C&P spitfire feels lacking even if it is Greek. The Anniversary statement feels more like a shield from criticism rather than an actual reason.
I would wish to see the Spiteful.
Or have a twin-seat Spitfire TR.9 for the 90th anniversary. Or have anything for it’s anniversary to begin with.

I think it’s mainly because of exclusive items which people want.
People go crazy about profile avatars in general. They went crazy over the little cubes.
Where as the BP is available to everyone ( i believe). But atleast you have the option to get the BP items. The only argument would be as Smin pointed out, The global client special offers in which others don’t get.

There are or at least were specific premiums ( iirc A20, F4U and maybe a yak or spitfire, that was exclusive to console players and as others mentioned the special variant of XM-1 )
can anyone give me some info on the challenger 130 as it was passed to the devs for germany and not britain when im quite sure the main purposes of it was for the challenger 2 Life extension program and to test a new nato calibre for the future but mostly for the british with the challenger 3 program though they went with the l/55a1 anyway
no they must just nerf the f14a and b instead
Pretty sure it was because germans ( Rheinmetall) made it as a test bed/demonstrator to sell it to the british. So I guess its technically german, but I am pretty certain that British would probably receive it since germans have their own upgunned leopard versions

yeah thats kinda what i thought the germans getting the vehicle because it was made by rheinmetall even though its built for britain doesnt make to much sense considering the only other british big gun mbt we could get is a cheiftain im pretty sure id honestly think the best idea is to give it to both tech trees

I ain’t sure if having it in BOTH tech trees is worth it. I personally would want to keep them seperated since we already going to have issues with F-35s being everywhere ( heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if china ends up getting one somehow) and that will just make top tier be less unique which I am strongly against, since whats the point of grinding nation where its “holy grail” top tier is just a copy paste and probably has better variants of it in other nations ( look at F-16s for example).
