I honestly can’t find anything about the AN/APQ-166. Does it have the ability to track ground targets or is it strictly terrain? If it’s the latter, Gaijin wasted time by adding it in unless they start doing terrain following/terrain mapping for targeting (which is negated by the map existing for CCRP).
I mean… it was a SRC radar. Unless the target was above the horizon, it isn’t going to work. What would help it more is if the Ai gunners weren’t knee capped to be worse than US ww2 training in capability.

It would be good if it didnt have to face 13.7 EVERY match, its at best usable currently, wish they gave this one 120 CMs too

Hopefully so, like what happened with the Comanche cockpit. (Although I still believe that was a result of them modelling it as the pilot sitting in the back instead of correctly being in the front so they had to just slap in a placeholder as they fixed it.)
60 CMs at 12.7 isn’t too bad, it can be a lot worse (cries in F-16A ADF, F-16A OCU, F-16AM (NOR) and J-15T).

It is pretty bad when u essentially exclusively face 13.7 and have to decide if u take all flares and hug the ground or waste half your CMs to probably not even notch a fox3 because they are datalinking it from outer space lol (or servers decide to just die and u are already dead)
As someone who is not an air player found the CF-188 playable.
Tho it being an A model dose make it worse then the other two, and the fact it see jets far better then it every other game doesn’t help.
the american and british are the same except the CF doesnt get walleyes, the swiss one is a C with 120 CM and the better engines (and slightly better radar iirc)

AGM-142 is post '91 sadly so…
US one should still have the better engines as that what was what was a big part of the C variant.

Sadly no, nether the IMP or HEP program upgrade the CF-188s engine to the ones used in the C or later variants.
So all the CF-188 get is better weapons and radar if we get the later upgrades. As the one we have is from the 1990s at lastest as it has nothing from even the IMP upgrades much less HEP.
