Well they could always add that strange looking Su-75 (or a F-35 from a different nation, but I seriously hope they don’t do that).
Smin said/implied that both oxy’s comment on the F-22 and the comment from the CM disclosure are valid/not unfounded. So that means that the F-22 is denied for this year and 5th gens are still planned for the second half of this year. However without the F-22 I don’t think we’ll see the Su-57.

answer: “addition of 5th gens doesn’t mean that we will stop adding aircraft of previous gen, as we are still adding even gen 0, u should understand that adding 5th gens takes a meaning, when there are no plens or tt is filled enough or when new plens don’t add new expirience, but are just a collectors additions”
It being Q2 2026 means 5th gen could be the next update. (As the June update is the only one that falls under Q2 of the year)
I think there is a 90% chance that the first fifth-generation aircraft will appear on the game’s birthday, that is, in the November update, and in December, all the others. After such a long time of more and more and more and more air focus, Ground really needs a bone thrown. After all it’s been 9 years since regenerative steering was “passed to the developers” and only 5 months ago we got some news at last!
Since they said that they could have implemented it long ago, but they didn’t because “they actually wanted tanks to turn sharper” and that “its implementation would be subjected to testing and community voting”, I really fear they may not even go with it after all.
Tank battles basically need to be recycled, literally since the release of the game we have also been playing point capture. Either I need to add some points of interest, or I don’t even know what

Yeah… now air is getting some gamemode love, I hope they eventually do the same for ground, whenever (if) they ever remember that there’s more to War Thunder than jets.
The past coulpe of years have been SO jet-focused I am just bored of ground top tier at this point. So stalled. Nothing new to look forward to while air gets like 10 jets per update and now a new mode too.
