This is essentially the East-West version of Dover Strait and could easily fit within 200x200 km.
Got a Canon EOS 1200D with a 75-300mm lens from my grandad that he doesn’t use anymore for some planespotting when it’s quiet at work or when it’s clear on the weekends.
But I got a bought a better lens that turned up just today but I haven’t had chance to test it out yet. A Sigma 150-500mm OS for dirt cheap.
Its a smaller area than I thought.

How about the area around Coningsby that would be something or Lossiemouth
That or if it’s shifted to the right and down could get pretty much the entirety of Wales in which would have a mixture of flat terrain, valleys, coastlines and varying mountains. Also some cool points of interest like our castles dotted about.

A Sigma 150-500 is my current high zoom telephoto, though looking at going to 150-600 at some point. but the 500 lets you get some awesome photos and being a cropped sensor, 500 actually equals 750-800mm of zoom compared to my full frame sensor, so you can get a lot tighter than me with the same lens
EF lenses are going cheap at the moment as people swap to R lenses. The 600mm Im looking at was £300-£500 more expensive last year

Scotland would be a good shout, same kind of mix of valley and open terrain, plenty of ocean for carrier.

The replay mode has had issues with games that last over 20-30 minutes for a while now but it’s even more prevalent with the Nuclear Thunder event where none of the replay files work correctly. Currently they either stop playing or cause the client to crash after anywhere between 15-50 minutes. This making it impossible to capture the end of a game in the event.
