and with the AI interception of missiles a thing now… I do wonder if we could see long ranged stand-off cruise missiles at some point. The issue too date, is that you could launch them easily cross map, from relative safety, this is what people were doing with the Grom-1 on the dev server.
If you had to go clear a path first… then they would be somewhat balanced

Japan/Thailand/Malaysia/Indonesia would have KH-31s, maybe HARMS (on technicalities) and maybe ASM-3 since it’s a passive composite seeker with a radar home in mode as an option.

I suppose AGM-88A & AGM-88B (Blk II ~ III) HARM for F/A-18C/D (early), A-6E SWIP and F/A-18A (mid 80’s ~ desert storm config)

Do HARMs actually work? I lob Kh-29 / AGM-65 to targets and go steafe them while busy.
I couldn’t manage to lock an ARM to something I can see on my screen yet. They just go lock at the furthest Hawk on the map
yes but like you gotta approach quite low and fire them from very short distances
but I’ve never had more than 1/4 hit
if you fite them too early they go into the sky and either lose track or get shot down

Not forgotten, it just isn’t part of the event.
It 's the same way there are many, many infantry weapons in the files which have not been part of the CB tests so far.
