Anyone else notice rockets fired from tanks appear in the minimap in ground battles after the last patch?

Patch note says it was added for aircraft weapons but doesn’t mention ground.

Mega buff for the RBT lol.

well now ill have to test that, also thats such a vague description if thats what the patch note’s say lol, is it for tracking fox 3 progress, helping enemies and teammates keep track of cas munitions?? so many more questions i have now.

They added this for Torpedos too, so maybe they just added for GRB as well

Smin, you you know if the Bomber are Loadout wise finished?
Because it seems wierd that the Tu-95 only gets 6x 250kg max stock while the B-52 gets 51 bombs

Also, can be please get these Bomber as Nuke bomber in GRB with the Mega Muke? :))

IMHO the only “problem” is the IRIAF, if it get’s removed on the event we are fine, saw a dude get 55 kills in it.

Seems smoke grenades also appear as missiles on the map if you zoom in enough.

Hope they keep it, Makes lobbing rockets over the map at campers easier lol.

Any updates on this or will the presets stay disadvantaged against players with their own US / USSR aircraft?

And if so, will there be any compensation like increased point gain or similar?
Because right now I feel like the game is just needlessly punishing players that either play other modes, other nations or simply haven’t gotten to that point, which just seems very disappointing compared to previous April Fools events that were accessible for everyone equally.

@Smin1080p_WT since we are getting a B-52 with tail gun, is there any chance at all we are going to get the proper radar aiming mechanic for it and the B-66? IRL these weapons were not manually operated. They were tied to a radar in their tails and aiming was completely automated with the only input from the gunner being choosing a target and pressing the fire button, there is no manual operation of these turrets like how they are presented in War Thunder

@Smin1080p_WT roughly what time period or year is the B-52H in game modeled from?

It’s a pre-1991 version as it has the rear gun.

thats still a 30 year period, there were upgrades done over that time

1st one
In the Dev blog of "Strategic bombers with nuclear bomber dev blog, it state that Strategic bombers with nuclear bombs are coming to War Thunder! is coming, it is only limited to the April fool event or is gaijin planning to add more stuff like B52J ,B2, B1A and B1R, TU 160, TU22, Vulcan, Mirage IV etc

Second Question
Will we see more game modes like this but with more strategic points like factories, Warehouses, Bunkers military bases?

Third Question
If we get those bomber, will we ever see Stand off munitions and Smart bombs/bunker buster, like JDAMS, AGM 154 JASSM, Tomahawks, KH 101, kh 59mk2 be ever added ?

man the b52 in the test flight feels way more nimble than i excepted but it kinda makes sense if it survived 70 years

Especially also with AI missile interception being modeled, it owuld be an ideal solution to adding long ranged stand-off weapons back in. Grom-1 for example wouldnt be OP if you had to go do some SEAD first

Speaking of this. They really need to tone down how accurate the the ai sams are at intercepting ordinance, the OSA and Roland are in particular are the most annoying because of this. (Also the fact that they fire on the move and without their radar is annoying but thats besides the point.)
