It has enough. 2x 9Gs, + 5x Mk13s + fuel tank + Phimat.
That is more than enough for any ASB sortie imo. My only real complaints are that it lacks the GR1Bs digital RWR and TIALD isn’t a higher Gen as it should be.
Sure it’s FM is not great, but it’s fine, especially when you know the jaaaaaaags history
That’s it’s TWS on the track radar, it does send a lock ping if your RWR covers K band, even if you are not the main target.

Both are just dealing with Gaijin artificial nerfs and bad compression.
Fix BOL, their FMs, a few other annoying issues and actually spread what should be more than an entire BR range out instead of having them all at the same BR, then they would be fine. Very solid early Fox-3 aircraft.
Edit: oh that is the Mk.4, ngl thought that was the Mk.2. I don’t remember the Mk.4 being trialed
Mk.2s would be nice for the actually being trailed bit, hope to see em someday.
One mustn’t forget that there is also the chieftain Mk.4, specifically bought by and made for Israel. It was specifically made for Israel given it was to operate in the desert conditions. (I’m sure you already knew about them and all, but this great time to share with the class the funny Israeli chieftain even further and do a plug for the suggestion)

Though the MB-339A isn’t in the game is it? So the reason it wasn’t added to the Japanese tree seems pretty obvious to me, they just haven’t added the aircraft yet and you’ll get it when Italy does

Malaysia operates the MB-339A(M) and A-4PTM, but both of them, like the Thai L-39, are different from what we have in game anyways.
I’m not even sure if we even have any MB-339 model in game yet
Small sidenote, but potential Japan sub tree A-4s gives me hope for Gaijin adding more Skyhawks to the game. At the very least the A-4PTM and A-4SU
