Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Project CHECO Southeast Asia Report. Second Generation Weaponry in SEA

“Like the SHRIKE, the STANDARD ARM had a passive seeker guidance system, but it was a much larger weapon (1,300 pounds, with a 220-pound warhead). It had greater standoff capability and a memory circuit to keep the missile on the proper trajectory

You a g fam. Do you happen to have anything that links the AGM-78 to AGM-88 specifically. I know Gaijin will just say that its a different missile and just because its a successor missile doesn’t mean its the same features.

Again, much appreciated.

@Flame2512 might know more, since I think that’s who turned up the info for the HARM

the fact before this last update I could earn 6-7k score a game and now im struggling to break 1500 because of how oppressive the SAMs are and how little score doing anything gives now is so stupid, before you could kinda kill the SAMs

but now they increase how many there are, buffed their AI, moved the forward airfields back so you now get constantly shot by BUKs AND they decreased the size of convoys to only have 5 targets in them (I see they didn’t remove the Shilka or the OSA from them)

TWO BASES HAVE MORE SAMS THEN SOME SOVIET AAA BATALIONS HAVE

Glad to see we are doing an alternative time line where the soviets and US barely built tanks, ifvs or SPGs and mainly used SAMs in front line roles

Ya, they killed the event after yesterday’s changes. It killed all the fun of the event. Only top-top-top players are still calling it fun, but air noobs like me with no TT aircraft to use have lost all fun.

I’m lucky to have some leftover GE from the string of far too many Canadian (or Canada-related) premiums last year. So I can get today’s stages and skip tomorrow’s, I’ll get the mods the old-fashioned way.

I wonder how smooth they actually are, I wanna run my hand and see if there are panel lines. Would be super weird if it was all just one big piece

@Smin1080p_WT welcome back from your holiday good sir.

Any plans to include reverse thrust on the new strategic bombers? They’re a bit… interesting to land in Air RB matches. Would help a lot in slowing down after touchdown.

I’m reminded of this clip whenever I see people attempting to land (timestamp 39:35):

i cant use the b52 tail gun for some reason, it just wont let me switch to gunner view.

when i use the menu to pick gunner view it just puts me in the bomb sight

It’s been like that since it was added

If they have them in reality, then its something that can be considered via a report. As far as I understand with the B-52 however, it just has a breaking parachute.

not a challenger 2 question for once i know its shocking but i noticed the NAMERS weight is interestingly heavy, for example its weighs only a ton less than a black night and a ton less than a merkava while not having a turret

for comparison

its only .6 of a ton lighter than a merkava, does this mean the merkavas turret only weighs 0.6 tons (or the more obvious being the NAMER is way to heavy)

because its meant to be a heavily armoured IFV like the BMPTs

Gaijin just thinks its armour is a myth
