What has happened to AIM-7F’s? They must be bugged because they’re actually hitting things now and not just nose diving into the ground at any alt.

Quite delusional to expect any changes

twenty-first!

But anyway, seeing as the June update is usually the one focussed on naval, I think we might see submarines being the main attraction.

Why is that?

No one told me they buffed the damn disco ball, lol

Glows like a mofo now

Because why would they.
Pretty much every bug report got rejected so they won’t just materialize buffs out of nowhere.

It’s probably for the best though, the missile is underweight but i’m afraid gaijin would just increase it with no additional changes if not just more battery life, which would be quite the joke and just make the missile worse.

Hopefully united Korea will be implemented one day

There’s still this report though?

https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/PjoAcDsvoClZ

It’s yet to be implemented

It also doesn’t change the fact the vast majority of reports got rejected and the missile still doesn’t reach its marketed range in game, which can’t be achieved simply by increasing the battery life, especially considering there are visible differences between the PL-12 and PL-12AE that imply the presence of an at least refined propulsion system, although it can’t be fully proved without additional sources.

all in all, gaijin added both a plane and a missile with borderline non-nexistent sources available publicly. The current J-15T implementation is largely made up

I’d like to dive into this claim (pun intended). A lot of people say that the June update is focused on Naval, but is that really true?

2.47 “Leviathans”: Adds WW2 battleships for all nations. Definitely naval focused. +1
2.37 “Seek and Destroy”: Main feature is missiles. French Coastal pre-order. Maybe you could count this? idk
2.27 “La Royale”: Adds France bluewater navy. Yep, naval focus. +1
2.17 “Danger Zone”: Hood, Kronshtadt, Bayern… but the headlining feature is the F-14, though it is a naval aircraft, not sure we can say this one is fully naval focused. Definitely not naval themed.
2.07 “Red Skies”: Air themed. Literally only 6 boats. New coastal map… not really a naval focus.
1.99 “Starfighters”: Not naval themed, but does add the Italian navy, I think this does count. +1
1.89 “Imperial Navy”: Naval themed and focused, adds the Japanese navy. +1
1.79 “Project X”: Adds Navy CBT. This counts. +1

So, out of the past 8 years, 5 of the 8 May/June updates have added some major feature to Naval. That’s more than half but it’s also not a very strong correlation (62.5%) That said, there does seem to be a trend to add new tech trees or CBT for naval in the second major update.

In the case for submarines, I wouldn’t call this trend alone as evidence that they will be added in the next update. I would really like to see them added and soon too, but the idea that the second major update is focused on naval doesn’t seem to hold a huge amount of water (pun intended).

Someone pass me the powder that makes you say “submarines next update”.
