Yeah. L23A1 feels like im firing blanks against soviet vehicles, but L26, which is a relatively minor upgrade, actually feels like it works. Its wierd.
But yeah. needs to be 11.0 still though. 9.Xs should not being seeing it. Heck. I dont even know if 10.0 or even 10.3s should be
I did see a good suggestion to move the premium one with 3 crew up to 11.0, and then give the TT one with 5 crew a few buffs and put it at 11.7
Loadouts remain a balancing decision, could keep A2, given it is the second best round in-game at the moment, its not like the US desperately needs the buff. But they might move the goalpost forward for everyone at the same time.
Yeah also forgot to add it will recive an apu, and i know they don’t work in game but gajin said they will implement it in the future as a feature, it can also recive m1147 round but that doesn’t really matter in wt as it’s kinda useless
Not sure why it would have zero survivability with the hull and ERA it has
If we take actual real life survivability into account, tanks should just count as destroyed as soon as they get penned/lose their tracks/have their barrel broken/etc
10.7 is a much more reasonable BR for it overall, but like the others said, giving it darts and moving it up to 11.3 would be a better outcome
I’d rather see a seperate Indian tech tree or a Czechoslovakian tech tree, but Gaijin would rather blow money on infantry than using that money to add more TTs or improve the general state of the game
The crazy thing is Sepv3 should have been added when they introduced the 2a7s into the game, let alone when they added rank 8 tanks. Still don’t understand why they keep holding off on it unless they’re trying to do rank 9 tanks like they are doing with planes, but still should have been added years ago.
That would require a change to how ammo detonation works in general, hitting the ammo of a vehicle almost never is a 100% guaranteed kill, even if the vehicle has no blowout panels or other ways of protecting the ammo or the crew from detonations
Also, wouldn’t the crew in the front still survive?
the ammo cook off would lead down into the main belts and destroy the tank, currently when the “external” belts are hit they either just dont cook off for some reason or cook off and do literally no damage to the tank or the crew, the tank can still fire even as the belts are actively cooking off which makes perfect sense to me
Blowout panels working but never like they are supposed to will never cease to amaze me.
Get shot in the side of the turret? Dead
Get shot in the turret front, through the loader and ammo door/bulkhead? They work like they are supposed to.
Also regarding the belts on the BMPT what gaijin can do is just make it that if one of the belts is hit and doesnt detonate it instead just cuts the belt, lose like 5-10 rounds and your forced to rerun the entire belt back up through the system and to the gun for like 10-15 seconds.
(You could argue this should happen to most things with belt feed but people might have a problem with that)
